Morvath's voice dropped with a menacing, dark tone, and his eyes glowed like fire, "Please make me believe that you have the foreknowledge that her meeting you was not a coincidence, Icarus. I thought you knew better?"
Icarus stared blankly at him, as he was rendered speechless with each statement Morvath made. Rachael was still trying to wrap her head around the blaring truth that dropped like a bomb within her. While Malachi just kept his senses alert in case of any slight discomfort within their surroundings.
"Well, it's not what I came here to tell you. I just decided to tip you off since it seems you'll be living in ignorance," Morvath smirked, as the feeling of victory underlined his features at how easily he made them look so weak and vulnerable by the amount of information he possessed.
Icarus stood defiantly before Morvath as his gaze pierced into his with contempt, as the atmosphere thickened with tension.
