He opened the box of cigarettes and nodded. "I kind of wanted to know what happened to her back then, to be honest. Like the reason she transferred schools and disappeared into thin air. I was still thinking of how to bring this up throughout our whole trip down the mountains."
Lily looked straight into Theodore's eyes.
She worked in the public relations department, so she had sharp eyes that could detect and see through lies. Although she hadn't worked for long, she had encountered quite a lot of different people within her field of work.
She was able to read Theodore like an open book.
