Arthur entered the large Sacred Chamber with a slight spring in his step because… well, why not? He was well on his way to fixing his mistake with Alex, the only phoenix he could call his friend in the whole castle.
Not only that but now that he'd regained his memories and lost powers, he felt as whole again. More whole than he'd felt in a very, very long time.
For decades, his powers had been suppressed while a vital part of him remained asleep.
Now, however, he was back… and it felt good. Arthur also felt the need to emphasize how he was never going to get his core sealed ever again.
Of course, he didn't know how to do that yet, but who cared about the details? He still had a lot to be grateful for.
