Arthur encouraged his friends to jog with him so they could move faster and get to the largest tree for his big reveal. As of right now, the semblance of a plan had started to take root in his mind…
…with several blanks to fill in before they could travel to the skull of the old Leviathan.
Unfortunately, the giant roots sticking out of the ground and the sheer size of the tree trunks kept the students moving slowly, sometimes having to turn perpendicular to their direction of travel to keep moving forward.
If it hadn't been for the slanted wisps of light breaking through the canopies, Arthur was sure he wouldn't stand a chance against the Winding Forest.
As they jogged on, the tense feeling in Arthur's temples started getting worse, forcing him to question everything he saw or heard.
Never once did he hear a sign of life… and yet he felt as though he was staring right into the eye of the enemy.
