The display panels of the Control Room showed images of the dimly lit forest through a thermo-filter, showing the different members of Squad Six in lighter shades of red, green and blue as they strained to find their way in the thick forest.
Professor Heldsworth placed his hands on the control panel in front of him and heaved a sigh, a bead of sweat rolling down the side of his face and settling into the groove of his scar.
"You okay?" the Chamber operator asked.
"Never better, Four Eyes!" the red-haired man responded. The operator went silent and returned to his job of maintaining the feed coming in through the various display panels.
At the back of the spacious Control room, the only door creaked open, attracting the attention of the students and adults alike. Professor Heldsworth walked away from the display panels and approached the door.
