"Really disappointing" Zoro said looking at Luffy and asking "Didn't you say I'm the only member of your crew?" Zoro asked Luffy.
"Indeed," said Luffy as he fixed his eyes on the roof of one of the houses and kept staring there.
"Then who is that girl?" Zoro asked as he walked over and stood next to Luffy and looked up to see what the captain was looking at.
"I don't know," said Luffy. When he said that, the girl from before, poked her head from the roof to peek and see if Luffy and Zoro were dead.
But the girl was immediately shocked to see they were still alive and the three pirates who had chased her were lying on the ground with blood flowing around their bodies.
The girl then looked at Luffy and got goosebumps when her eyes met the cold eyes of the boy wearing the straw hat. The girl then looked at the three pirates who were almost dead before speaking.
"You guys are really strong!" he said as he jumped down from the roof and landed on the balcony of the house. "Even though you guys are outnumbered and they have swords, you can beat them," said the girl. Luffy kept looking at her with no emotion on his face before he spoke.
"Those words came from the girl who framed us a few minutes ago," said Luffy. "Who are you?" Luffy asked causing the girl to grin widely before answering.
"I'm a talented thief who steals only from pirates, my name is Nami!" he said happily. Luffy was about to speak, but before he could, the girl spoke again in an excited tone.
Hey! Do you guys want to cooperate with me!? The girl asked, sounding very excited thinking about the results she would get from teaming up with the two strangers in front of her. Luffy turned to leave before he could speak.
"Thanks for the offer but I don't need a thief, especially one who endangers the lives of two innocent civilians just to save his own" said Luffy before walking away with Zoro.
Nami clenched her fists and stared at the ground feeling slightly embarrassed when Luffy said that. she then looked up to see Luffy and Zoro walking away, these were two very strong people who could really help her in achieving her goals and Nami wasn't about to let an opportunity like this pass just because they saw a part of her that she really wasn't.
Nami jumped off the balcony and screamed at them while running to catch up with them.
"Wait! Wait! I'm not like that!" Nami shouted while running towards them "At least think about my offer for a while before you reject it" said Nami when she finally caught up with them.
Luffy and Zoro stopped walking and turned towards him before Luffy spoke.
"Listen Nami, I'm sure you are a good girl and all, but like I said before, I don't need a thief. Unless you have other skills that might be useful on the high seas, otherwise we don't need to work together," said Luffy with a sigh.
He knew he couldn't judge Nami based on the first meeting earlier, it was unfair to her. Nami then gives a big smile telling Luffy that she has a skill that might be useful.
"I am the most skilled navigator you will ever meet!" Nami said proudly with a big smile on her face. Luffy looked at him and smiled back before speaking.
"A navigator? Now that's the person I'm looking for," said Luffy making Nami's smile widen, but her smile soon disappeared when Luffy spoke again.
"How about you join my crew. I'm looking for a navigator," said Luffy. When Luffy said that Nami stopped smiling and shouted at Luffy.
"No!" exclaimed Nami confusing Luffy "I guess you two are pirates right?" Nami asked, earning nods from Luffy and Zoro. Nami clenched her fists and shouted at Luffy and Zoro,
"There's nothing in this world that I hate more than pirates! I only like money and oranges!" He screamed causing Luffy to look at him with sad eyes.
It was clear that pirates had done something to Nami or someone close to her. It was a common occurrence in this world, pirates attacked a village and destroyed the lives of many innocent people causing them to develop a hatred towards all pirates.
Luffy placed his hand on Nami's shoulder before he spoke to her in a warmer voice than his previous cold voice.
"You know...not all pirates are as bad as you meet" Luffy said causing Nami to stare at him wide eyed.
"How did you know I've met an evil pirate!?" Nami asked/shouted. Luffy sighed and looked around before he spoke.
"Don't talk in the open like this. I'm sure you don't want Buggy's men to find you," said Luffy as he started walking towards one of the abandoned houses.
Zoro, who had remained silent throughout the commotion followed his captain into the house, a very confused and angry Nami also followed Luffy. The group enters a family's abandoned house hoping to get away from Buggy.
There are photos on the walls of the house, a family with parents and two young children are seen taking a photo together, then next to the photo there is a cupboard filled with liquor, Luffy decides to check it out.
While checking the cupboards in the house, Luffy's eyes were as wide as dinner plates, Zoro saw this and decided to check on the captain.

"Here's a bottle of Suntory Yamazaki Single Malt Whiskey 12 Years Old!" Luffy said excitedly causing Zoro and Nami to roll their eyes at his behavior.
"Yeah, why? It's just whiskey," said Nami, making Luffy surprised and a little angry.
"Only whiskey? ONLY WHISKEY!?" Luffy shouted surprising Nami and Zoro. In the short time Zoro had known Luffy, he rarely saw Luffy express his emotions.
So, to see him here now putting on an expression other than cold and calm was something Zoro knew he would not see again for some time.
"This bottle of whiskey costs 250,000 belly!" Luffy shouted making Zoro's and Nami's eyes widen hearing the price. Nami's eyes immediately turned into buy marks for thinking about selling the bottle.
Luffy noticed the look in Nami's eyes and immediately shouted at her. "Don't try it Nami?" he shouted removing the thought from nami's head. Luffy then walked over to the dining room table, sat down and poured some whiskey into a glass.
Luffy looked at Zoro to see him walking with a bottle of sake in his hand while sitting next to Luffy and guessed that Zoro prefers sake over whiskey. Luffy then looked at Nami who was next to them, choosing to stand by the window and look outside.
Luffy took a sip of his drink and smiled at the taste. He was interrupted while enjoying the whiskey by Nami's voice.
"So are you going to tell me how you knew I met a bad pirate?" he asked. Before Luffy could answer his question, Nami spoke once again, "As far as I'm concerned, all pirates are nothing but trash. What they do is destroy the lives of innocent people and then leave happily," said Nami with a deep sense of anger and hatred. his voice.
Before he could speak again, Luffy decided to say something.
"I suspect the pirates you met were the scum of the earth and they hurt you or someone close to you. I can understand why you hate pirates so much, but you shouldn't judge all pirates based on your interaction with any one of them." "said Luffy while looking at Nami from the corner of his eye.
"Ten years ago a group of pirates came to my village. At first we were all afraid of them and thought they would attack the village and kill everyone, but instead, they were good people who played with the children and helped the people around the village. They stayed in my village for about two months and when they left they took me and taught me everything" Luffy said shocking Nami and Zoro.
Nami looked at Luffy with utter shock and jealousy written all over her face.
'why don't pirates like them come to my village... not... those monsters!' Nami thought to herself angrily. He was brought out of his thoughts by Luffy's voice.
"This straw hat was given to me by the captain of that pirate crew as a promise. A promise to meet again when I become the King of the Pirates!" Luffy said as he held the straw hat in his hands smiling affectionately at her "I value this hat more than my own life. This is my treasure" Luffy said as he put the straw hat back on his head and turned to Nami and spoke.
"So Nami, join my crew and let's rock the whole world," said Luffy with a big grin on his face. Nami saw his smile and couldn't help but reply.
"I would never lower myself just to become a pirate," said Nami causing Luffy to frown "However," added Nami making Luffy's face light up once again in the hope he would join,
"I don't think it's a problem if we can work together to achieve our goals together," said Nami making Luffy grin widely at her before he looked at Zoro and raised his glass.
"This is for our new navigator!" Luffy shouted at Zoro as he raised their glasses and drank what was left in the glass. Luffy then stood up, picked up the expensive whiskey bottle and placed it on his coat.
Nami saw this and gave him a strange look, Luffy saw the way she was looking at him and spoke. "What? I'm a pirate" he said causing Nami to shake her head.
"So what are your orders, Captain?" Zoro asked as he stood with his captain. Luffy wiped the smile off his face and once again used an emotionless expression before he spoke.
"Let's meet Buggy and beat him up," Luffy replied while walking out of the house. Zoro smiled thinking he would get a fighting chance while Nami looked really scared.
"B-Buggy?" Nami asked in a scared voice. Luffy looked at him and spoke.
"Yes, he is the reason we came here. I was going to ask him to join my crew but after seeing what he has done here I decided to beat him up," said Luffy as they continued walking to where Buggy and his crew were.
