Kayden nodded to the greetings of the maids.
" Get dinner ready ". He said starting up the stairs. He had left the office as early as 9:50pm and all because of Everette.
He walked down the hallway to Everette's room knocking on the door lightly.
" Come in ". He heard the voice of Carrie, the personal nanny he hired to take care of Everette.
He pushed the door open stepping inside quietly, the room filled with the giggles of a happy Everette. The two were seated crossed legged on the carpet, Everette coloring away in a coloring book while Carrie just watched him.
" Am I interrupting? ".
Everette looked up from his drawing at Kayden and his smile grew wider.
" Kayden ". He giggled. Carrie immediately stood and bowed a little.
" Your back so early sir? ". She asked, the shock in her tone evident.
" Really? is coming back by 10pm ' so early ' huh? ". emphasis on the so early.
