I had zoned out half way into Bryson explaining about the progress of our recent project, my mind going back to the event of that night with Everette.
It's been a week but I couldn't stop thinking about it. When Everette woke up the next day, it was like nothing happened. I don't even think he remembered the storm yesterday because he got back to his happy, cute, cheeky, bubbly self thought he still hated loud noises. Whenever he heard something crash or fall, he would always break into sobs and run to me. It didn't take much thought to know it's PTSD from the accident that happened, when I told Bryson he insisted I got a doctor which I definitely should.
And then, there is Everette pheromones, after that night he didn't release them again but if he did it before, he can still do it again- right
" Kayden ". Bryson called snapping his fingers in front of my face to get my attention. I turned to look at him.
" Yeah? ".
