And so, we left the city of Aurisleam behind and made our way back to Havencrest. Though our journey had been fraught with danger at every turn, we were now more confident in facing the darkness ahead.
Upon reaching Havencrest, we were greeted by Melodious and our other companions, their faces filled with relief and joy upon seeing us return safely. We shared the knowledge we had gained during our travels and set about making preparations for the coming struggle against the Shadow Weaver.
The first thing that I did when getting back was to call for Lachlan. If anyone was going to know anything about this, it would have to be him. Hopefully, he would be too much of an asshole like usual.
As expected, Lachlan was his usual abrasive self when he arrived at the castle. However, his demeanor changed once I explained the situation to him and shared our findings about the Shadow Weaver.
