With Cloris cradled protectively in his arms, Chase sprinted towards an opening on the cavern's far side, adrenaline surging through his veins. The Arachnopion's thunderous footsteps echoed behind them, growing louder with each passing second.
Their escape route led into a narrow, winding tunnel, but Chase knew that they were far from safe. He could hear the creature's hisses and clicking mandibles drawing nearer. The Arachnopion was relentless, and its fury was palpable.
The tunnel twisted and turned, shrouded in near darkness, but Chase pressed on, driven by sheer determination. Cloris clung to him, her breathing shallow and weak. They had to find a way out of this nightmare.
