Chapter 16 - Immortal World: Elizabeth Silvermoon Part 3

[Congratulations to both Hosts on the birth of their first child. The Heavenly Dao has decided to display a spectacular vision to the immortal world to celebrate the birth of the first Absolute Dragon in the immortal world. The little one has been granted the title of "Absolute Empress".]

Upon seeing this, both Elena and Illios were surprised.

"Illios wondered aloud, 'System, are there no absolute dragons in this world?' Considering that there are many races in this world, including different types of dragons, aren't there any Absolute Dragons?'

[Host, the system's resources are provided by different fallen dimensions, which includes all kinds of resources, from bloodlines, constitutions, and even creatures.]

'From which worlds?' Illios asked with much curiosity, but received no response.

'Well, I guess I can find out later,' thought Illios, unwilling to sour the moment by thinking about unknown things.

Meanwhile, as he spoke with the system, a loud roar was heard that puzzled them at first, but they quickly understood that this was the spectacle promised by the celestial dao, unaware of the implications that would come from this event.

Illios, with Elizabeth in his arms, looked at Elena and with a brief nod from both, they went out to the door of their mansion to see the vision in more detail.

In the celestial dao's vision, a majestic dragon soared in the sky. Its body was covered in scales that looked like soft feathers and shone as if made of the purest celestial light. Its eyes, large and round, were the color of pure gold, with star-shaped pupils that reflected the wisdom of the universe.

As the dragon flapped its wings, a powerful and benevolent force could be felt emanating from its body. Its roar echoed in the hearts of those who saw it, filling their souls with a feeling of peace and respect. It was as if the very heavens were responding to the dragon's presence, revering its majesty and wisdom.

Suddenly, Illios felt that the dragon was looking at him. Although it did not show it, his instincts told him that this vision saw him and something more interesting was that its majestic eyes contained a feeling he could not decipher. Later, it seemed that the dragon's gaze shifted to Elena at his side, but this time he could see the emotion that those golden eyes brought: mockery...

Elena's face darkened, perhaps because she also knew how that dragon was looking at her, and honestly, Illios would act similarly if a being that appeared so powerful looked at him with ridicule. The worst part was that it conveyed direct mockery towards its target.

After a few moments, the vision began to disappear, not without giving one last majestic roar.

Illios looked at his daughter in his arms, fearing that she might be scared, but all he saw on her little face was indifference, as if it had nothing to do with her. This puzzled him for a moment, but then he remembered that he was carrying a pure dragon in his arms.

"It was good while it lasted, I suppose," said Elena, who immediately went inside the mansion.

[Immortal World Mission (Catastrophe): 1/20 people with Sovereign of Existence potential]

"Phew, it seems to have worked," thought Illios as he remembered the objective of his mission.

The mission basically consisted of training or participating in the formation of 20 people with the potential to reach the "Sovereign of Existence." At first, Illios and the others were worried because none of them were on the list, even though they had technically gone through the birth process. They thought that maybe a child between them could not be considered "native," but apparently it was an unnecessary concern.

-----------------

After that day of the vision, a month passed. Many rumors circulated throughout the immortal world about the Dragon's vision that had been seen from all over the immortal world, and the empire was no exception. This resulted in the hottest rumors, including the arrival of a new generation of immortals. It is not known who invented it, but they were not far wrong.

Finally, we meet one of the responsible parties of that vision, pulling their hair in frustration as they tried to focus on territory issues. What is the reason for so much stress? Bankruptcy? Thieves? No, a baby, more than ten rooms away.

Waaaaaah! Waaaaaah! Wah, wah, wah.

"Damn my senses," cursed Illios as he wondered why the baby wouldn't quiet down if she was with her mother and the doll specializing in motherhood.

The sounds of crying did not stop, in fact, they seemed louder with each passing second, until footsteps were heard and the door to the study opened.

A worn-out woman with dark circles under her eyes and a face that looked like that of a tragic mother pleading for food for her poor child in her arms was revealed. That woman was Elena.

"Please, Illios, make her stop crying!" she said with a genuinely pleading voice, which was rare for Elena if you ask anyone.

Seeing Elena in that state, Illios sighed and calmed down. Being a mother is hard, especially when your daughter won't stop crying unless she's in her father's arms, literally.

Finally, he decided to receive his little daughter.

mmm mmm mmm!

Elizabeth seemed to have felt her father's presence and finally stopped crying, leaving her mother, Elena, visibly relieved.

"I don't understand why this happens, it's obviously not normal," babies instinctively seek their mother to feel safe, in addition to the food and comfort that only your mother can provide.

But Elizabeth was different, suddenly she wouldn't stop crying, even when Elena bought all the available toys with her poor balance at the system store. Only when she was in her father's arms, Elizabeth felt at peace.

"Alyssa, do you know what's wrong with Elizabeth? Tell me everything, don't hide anything," Illios finally asked Alyssa about his daughter's condition. Although he liked that his daughter loved him, he didn't want to always have to be there to calm her down.

"Master, I need your permission to access the available database of the Universal System," Alyssa said.

Upon hearing that, Illios narrowed his eyes and thought deeply... until he finally gave authorization. Anything related to his daughter was a priority.

The doll took a few minutes to process the information received until she finally spoke.

"Master, the little mistress is an absolute dragon and her instincts detect that Mistress Elena does not possess a bloodline equal to hers. That's why she doesn't trust her and thinks she's safer with the Master. In addition, absolute dragons have innate behaviors inscribed in their bloodline," Alyssa said.

"What kind of behaviors?" Illios asked. The bloodline reasoning was somewhat convincing, but it didn't explain why Elena would be less safe. This should be due to the influence of dragon behaviors inherited from her bloodline.

Alyssa began to tell Illios about the kind of behaviors absolute dragons exhibit during their upbringing.

Apparently, absolute dragons are extremely proud, especially females, who take pride to another level. According to Alyssa, females don't care at all about their offspring. In fact, they see them as a nuisance and simply abandon the nest, leaving the father to take care of them.

But fathers are not exempt from sin. Before finding out that a female dragon has laid an egg or is pregnant, they are extremely lustful to the point that many hybrids could have been conceived while the female dragon was in her gestation process.

When the dragon father finds out that he will be a father, he immediately ensures the best environment for his future child. Could we call him a good father? Only if we consider that female dragons are more powerful than males. It is no coincidence that in certain mythologies, the most powerful dragon is female.

The goal of the dragon father in careful parenting is to ensure a moral debt for their offspring. If the baby is male, he also cares for its well-being, although it is true that if it is female, she is often treated with greater attention and care. This is because female dragons can become more powerful than males, so it is expected that they can bring some kind of treasure or attract mates for their father.

Female dragons are extremely proud and value their independence. They often do not want to feel that they owe anything to any other dragon, including their father. However, they do recognize and value the care and attention received during their upbringing, and may show their gratitude by bringing gifts and benefits to their father from time to time.

The reason Elizabeth cries from time to time is because the female absolute dragon only interacts with her offspring when they are older, and if she encounters them before then, she may eliminate them for being a nuisance to her relationship with the father. This may be due to the offspring being inferior or because the female feels jealous of the care the father gives to the offspring.
