His deep, husky voice made her legs feel weak; her heart stopping as she recognized its owner.
She immediately relaxed under his touch, his hands releasing her finally. He didn't step back, though, his body still close to hers.
"Y—You scared the shit out of me." Isabelle said, turning around. The only thing she could see was a tall shadow in front of her. One of her hands reached out, looking for his.
He felt her touch, letting her take his hand. "I'm sorry." He squeezed it a little, taking a step forward even though he knew there was no space left between them; making her take a step back.
He continued until her back hit the wall, cornering her. She felt her belly turn, her heart pounding as she understood the situation she was in. With ease, he grabbed her face with both hands, turning her face up and clashing his lips with hers.
