What are Levels?
Levels are numeric values that symbolize a Witch or Warlock's total power level, as it distinguished how far they are from Godhood, each ability user's magic upgrades every ascension.
How many Levels are there?
There is a total of thirteen levels, that is split into two paths, Holy Ascension, and Corrupted Ascension, each level represents your racial position in the hierarchy of the world.
What's Holy Ascension?
The Holy Ascension path is gaining power through the assistance of one of the ten main Gods by forming a temporary contract with them, under the condition that the contractor will serve the God for a hundred years if they reach Level: 3, the user of this path gains something called the Gospel, each Gospel is unique as they contain specific instructions needed for said individual to ascend to a higher level.

Pros of the Holy Ascension Path.
1.) It's quicker
2.) it's safer
3.) it is easier to cultivate
4.) Talent isn't needed
5.) The stronger you get, the more point you can score with a God or Goddess
Cons of the Holy Ascension Path
1.) It requires the strongest of will because depending on what race you pick, some of the methods can be questionable, if not morally wrong, as these sacrifices are needed for promotion.
2.) You can't ascend any further than Level-3 until your 100 years of servitude are finished, or the God or Goddess decided to free you.
3.) High chance of being hunted down as a God can only create a divine weapon via the body of another Holy Ascension User.
4.) Prone to betrayal
5.) True immortality can only be granted at the last and strongest Level

What's Corrupted Ascension?
The Corrupted Ascension path is gaining power through the influence of the unknown, instead of getting a gospel, these users will go through, something called the ritual of enlightenment which is a ritual that will change the way how one thinks of the world around them, it awakens new perspective, with this new perspective it gives one the idea of how to promote themselves to the next level through various Archane, ritualistic, and sacrificial means, each perspective is unique however at the cost of enlighten, every time you promote a level your sanity deplete as you go closer and closer to madness.
And unlike racial promotion of the Holy path users, one does not have a specific race when it comes to the corrupted path, for the sole reason that with every promotion you step further and further away from your humanity, till eventually your mind, body, and soul is corrupted and disfigured into something else, to be the unknown is not having a special race, no it's to be a state of being beyond recognition.

1.) This Path devours your sanity driving you to the point of irreversible madness.
2.) every time you promote to a higher level your humanity is perverted into a grotesque shape that represents one uniqueness.
3.) It's harder to cultivate
4.) High chance of losing one sense of self
5.) Will always be labeled as the bad guys, seeing the closer to level one you get the more of a threat you become to the natural order.
