Chapter 1 - Prologue

[October 31st, 4032]

A bright Scarlet moon shines brightly upon the city of Lorraine, the home of romance, the city of love, and yet this place holds a great amount of secretes forgotten by men, all of which were hidden with the blood of a fallen nation.

Some secrets were tragic, some shocking, some unbelievable, some mysterious, some unreasonable, and some unforgettable.

But overall Lorraine is more of a heavy anchor of bitter-sweet memories for me than it is a special place full of secrets more than anything else, it's the place where it all started and ended in a way.

Just thinking about it now, recalling those harsh and sweet moments, just gives me both a happy feeling and a painful jolt in my heart.

And yet, those memories will never be forgotten, history might have blank the truth for what it is, but regardless I will always remember everything that happen in those lost forgotten pasts.

I will always remember the good old days, and the time we spent together.

I will always remember the harsh and cruel times we experience because that's part of our story, a story we share, a story we experience, and a story we should never forget.

I will always remember my fallen comrades, my family, and most of all my precious little brother, who sacrifice his happiness for a better future for his children, for his wives, and most of all, for me.

However, as much as these memory pain me to remember, as much as these memories pain me to recall, as much as these memories hurt me, I still cherish each and every last one of them, from the smallest thing like laughing for no reason, to the major things like seeing mother last days.

So with that said, I say now, to all far and wide, I am an ex-hunter, a relic of the past, guardian of this world, the one who chooses those who are worthy of the mantle of king, I go by many names, I have many forms, many voices, and of course many identities.

However, none of that is important right now, because I want to tell you a story, one of love, one of passion, one of action, one of magic, one of gore, one of violence, one of betrayal, one of sacrifice, one of loss, one of maturity, one of tragedy, and most importantly one of family.

Now sit back fellow readers of another world, grab some popcorn, brew a cup of warm tea to ease the mind, and make yourself comfortable for an unforgettable tale filled with passionate Romance and hot-blooded action, I myself am seated comfortably in my favorite rocking chair, as I prepare myself to retell the tale of my Brother Sherlock Prelati, the man, the myth, the legend.

For I am the Ghost of Lorraine, I am neither a God, nor a demon, but more of a caretaker of this world that watches over the land of the living; if you desire a title then refer to me as such, for this is the story of my Brother, an epic of sorts, for this tale, we shall call this story "Tale of the Phantom: Book One"

Now then my little ducklings, I hope you make yourself comfortable because you are in for a wild ride, now then; to tell this story for all that it is; we must go way back into the past, how far back, well the year it all began which is 732, the day the sky fall, the day the Earth cry, a time when I was still called Alexander Prelati.
