Chapter 6 - The Accord

My eyes could not leave this woman's figure, her beauty was enticing and horrendous in many ways to the point I was left awestruck.

My speech was muted, my movement was stiff, and my thoughts were all over the place.

But one thing is for sure; this woman is not normal, that much is evident by her appearance and aura alone, although as my thoughts venture more, she began to initiate a conversation with me.

It was weird, very weird, her mouth does not move, her body is properly confined, and also she seems to be unconscious, and yet not unconscious.

Evidence of this claim was the fact that her consciousness seem to be leaking into mine, as I heard her voice in every direction.

Even now her voice echoed in the back of my head, invading my own mental space with ease.

"Thou art needs to snap back to reality."

Upon hearing this, I look at her as I slowly step back, and I said.

"Who. No! What the hell are you?!"

"Thine great name is Kthilla, the witch of secrets, it's a pleasure to meet thee oh young warlock of the present world, or should I say invader of another world."

Her introduction was short, but her humor was horrible, but I more or less figured out why she has such an appearance, she was a witch, so it would make more sense that she looks like this because of her magic.

But intrigued by the situation, and confused about everything else, I took this opportunity to ask her some much-needed questions that needed to be answered, so I called out her name, as I said.

"Kthilla... You say that's how you pronounce your name right?"

"It lacks the elegance but it shall do."

"Right... So where am I?"

This was the first question I ask of her, as this was the first thing on my mind, the reason being before I was an entire garden of white roses, that stretches for as far as the eye can see, this place had many other things as well, such as a giant tree that was already dead at the center of the room.

And vast majority of vases, along with worn-out paintings, but the strangest thing of all is the fact that the walls around me were all made out of weird material with many alien-like writings on them, there was even a half-broken thrones further down in the room, there could be much more as well.

And finally, there was Kthilla, who of course made this place even weirder.

But as I look around me, she began to answer my earlier question.

"Thou art be in thy castle, a place which has long been forgotten in the shadow of time, you see thine name is Kthilla of Zarion, I was a great princess of the holy kingdom, the place of worship, and home of the witches, and warlocks."

Was what she said with pride and honor, yet the sadness behind her voice was profoundly obvious.

"Zarion, sorry lady never heard of it, but what I got from that was this place is probably an underground city buried due to the course of time right?"

"That is correct."

Kthilla said to me as she confirm my suspicions, but either way, I had no interest in knowing anything further, after all, she seems to be sealed away properly, my best guess is that someone sealed her here for a reason, and her accord is most likely an attempt to make me free her, the red flags where obvious.

So I did what any sane person would do, as I said to her.

"Well it was nice knowing you Kthilla, but I think I'm going to head out now, my brother Alexander must be worried sick, have a nice one."

I said to her as I turn around to leave however upon doing that I was met with an atrocious sight that gave me the shock of my life, even more so than meeting this beautiful atrociousness in person.

Before I was an above-average-looking man with long dark purple hair, that could easily reach his back, his skin was pale, but to be honest, it was even paler than before, and his blood was soaking the white roses around him, meanwhile, his entire right side of his skull look it was a cave in by something that hit him hard in his head to point you can see his brain gooshing out of his skull.

But the most frighting thing of all was that half of his body was crushed under a giant rock, even now you could see he was almost split in half.

My eyes open up wide in shock, as I slowly made my way to the body before me, my hands were trembling, just looking at it.

But by doing that I also notice, that my hands seem large, and so were the clothes I was wearing, but most of all I just realize my voice was different.

Instantly my eyes fell toward the puddle of blood and that's when I saw a middle age man wearing glasses and a tuxedo, in the reflection.

"Wa-wa-wait minutes, this isn't funny w-Why am I back to my original appearance?"

"Why...WHYYY!!!

"WHYYY... am I laying there, under the rubble of rocks, and a pool of my blood?"

But at that same time, Kthilla said.

"Has thou art just noticed, your vessel died due to falling from such a high height, you drop from sixty meters down and at high speed at that, my castle is rather large you know."

"Who fuck makes a castle that fucking high?"

"Well my condolences, however, you must accept reality as is, your vessel has perished."

That information hit me hard, not once, but twice as fate hit me with death, at the thought, I fell to my knees as I began to think about my mother, Denzel, and Alexander.

"Fuck!... In other words, I'm dead, hahaha... Just great."

"For being a dead person you don't seem all too bum out, is this because thou art experience death once before thy arrival to tis world?"

Kthilla asked puzzled if not intrigued about the situation and my reaction to seeing my dead body laying helpless before me.

But my answer was in line with my belief, as I responded.

"We all come in this world to go, one day, immortality is impossible, well that's, well that's what I used to believe anyways, however, my brother has shattered that belief time and time again, sigh it doesn't even matter anymore."

"Tell me Kthilla will my soul wander around aimlessly without purpose, will I go to this world version of the underworld to be judged for my sins?"

I asked in a melancholic tone, however, the answer I got was as expected.

"Your soul is naught of tis world, and as a result, you have no final resting place, eventually tis world will just absorb you slowly, erasing your existence as a way to maintain its law of balance."

"Is that so hahaha... Just great, then how can you see me, and how did you know I am from another world?"

"Your clothes don't match tis age, thine taste of fashion is whack, and your soul possesses another body, also thee is the first person to be transmigrated over, there is also the fact I can read your memories as well."

Kthilla announces as she points out the obvious, to which I just replied.

"I see... Well, it doesn't matter, either way, I'm going to be erased eventually."

But at that same time, Kthilla took advantage of the situation and said once more.

"Well seeing thee can just wander around aimlessly till thy inevitable demise I shalt leave thee to it, but I believe thine offer, would interest thee, does thou art care to heareth thy accord?"

"...Offer what can I possibly do for you lady I'm dead... Can't you see my body lying beneath a giant rock, you can't get any deader than that."

Kthilla of course answers back to claims as such.

"Yes thee is dead, however, thine great self can resurrect thee into the living world once more."

"Really?"

I ask, feeling a sense of hope overwhelming me.

"Of course, thine service won't be free."

"Figured, sigh! What do you want lady?"

"I have but one goal in my life, I want vengeance, and thee is going to grant thine wish?"

Kthilla explains as she states the obvious.

"Let me guess you want revenge on the person that sealed you here?"

I asked as I could remember some of the cliches of the novel I used to read, and this was one where mc meets a mysterious girl.

"Ok I will do it, but who do you want me to take revenge on?"

But the answer I got completely killed the mood, as my deadpan face reach perfection at the very moment of hearing it.

"My father the Astral God Yogßhot, ruler of the cosmos, the false God who stole an authority of creation from his older brother; my uncle Yæwhe, our God Almighty."

Upon hearing this is smile as I turn around and said while floating away in defeat.

"Well dying isn't so bad, I live a happy life with my family anyways."

However, at the same time, Kthilla shouted at me.

"¡Thou art be a spineless coward then?!"

"Of course I am, you see I am but a simple man, a mere mortal, a puppet of God, I can't kill Gods because I was created by the Gods according to theology, do I look like some shounen power-hungry main character to you, my only power is manipulating the spirits of the dead."

"Then thee is a baffoon indeed, that's why I offer thee an accord because I will give you the power to kill Gods."

"Nooo wa. Wait say what now?!"

"As I said, thine great self shall give thee thine remaining life, thine destiny, thine hope, thine body, thine soul, and thy power, although weak, it has the potential to one day grow to become the strongest power in all of the creation, it might take decades, or maybe even centuries, but with enough training, thee can eventually rival the Gods powers."

"So lets me get this straight your saying, that you will give me everything that is you, for the sake of vengeance, why do you want to kill your father so bad anyways, it has to be more than just the sealing right?"

"That man is a devil, an abomination, and a sore to the very concept of existence, he has no moral compass, no compassion, and no care for anything but himself, his ultimate goal is to free himself from the Astral plane which my uncle sealed him in at the very last minute, and manifest into all realities causing chaos and discord to empower himself more, to him he desires only a world of silence, and as such he wants to destroy everything to reclaim that silence, that is my fathers only wish that was taken away from him by my uncles when he created the vast majority of the universe that exists today."

"And because I have the power to escape the influence of the Gods, and I refuse to cooperate with him, he began to fear me, and as a result, he sealed me away here, there are other sins as well, my father r@ped my mother, and killed her lover, destroyed, murder, and enslave countless amount of people, this is naught but a glimpse of the atrocities he has done."

When I heard this I felt bad for her, so I ask Kthilla.

"I see, how long have you been here?"

"I can't recall, it's been so long, to the point that time became meanless to me."

After hearing this, I sighed to myself and responded.

"Fuck, why do I always find myself in the oddest of situations, agh... Fine, but how can you trust me?"

I asked since there was no way she could be sure that I will keep my word, but the answer she gave me surprised me.

"Oh Sherlock of another orb, I shall grant mine remaining life thee, and as such, thou shall be inheriting mine faculties along with my misfortune as well, thou may run, yet hiding from destiny is impossible, thou and I shall be one corporal agent, one mind, and one soul if thou die then they turn ends, I hope thou get firm-set enough to pass towards the taper to another if thou fail on thy journey, I hope mine will shall start with me and end with thou, that power isn't something that a mortal like yourself should'st be burden with; 'I the truest sense, I am sorry, and farewell mine Champion, and successor of another orb."

"My turn ends, I don't get it."

"Ye will figure it out soon enough, but after I resurrect you, heed thy warning, they will leak into this world bringing it into thousand years of darkness."

"Who?"

"It is something left to be seen than explained."

"Yeah, yeah, so what now?"

"Come closer, and touch thy heart, that will seal the eternal covenant between thy self and ye, this shall be my last ceremony, and also my last day on Earth, because I'm forfeiting thy remaining life to resurrect you."
