{300 years passed}
My cultivation had already reached its peak, but even with the progress I made over the past years I couldn't help but count each minute... second in this damn library. I often found myself talking to myself as if it would help me to keep my sanity.
I learned to refine pills years ago, then I started reading books about different cultivation methods and techniques to find out what works best for me. For a while, I went through a stage of practicing demonic cultivation arts like shaving away a part of my soul or drinking blood instead of using herbs and such; these cultivation methods seemed to be working much faster, but I realized I would reach bottleneck sooner.
Treasury was a lifesaver, it contain so many magical relics that when the first time I entered it, I almost passed out from shock. I am still in awe, of how this magical library can contain things that should expire really quickly!
Today, just like any other day for the last three hundred years, I walked into the treasure room and walked straight toward the golden goblet that contained the dragon blood. The goblet was engraved with many words and symbols inside.
"Time to dig in!~" I said before gulping down the dragon's blood. It tasted horrible at first since I didn't have enough experience with consuming its kind yet. But after a couple of years, I started feeling its effects: My mind became clearer and sharper; my body felt stronger every time I trained; my overall perception improved drastically as well as my magic control and skill refinement. However, there were also some side effects that appeared—my hair turned white as soon as I consumed it; my nails were getting longer and more durable.
However, the real reason I was doing this... Immortality. If I want to achieve my goal and avenge Miranda, I needed to survive until I was summoned again. Then, my plan is to...
"I will train my summoner so I could leave her without worrying about her getting assassinated..." I said as I placed down the goblet. The goblet instantly filled in with the same red liquid as if I never drank it.
"This place never ceases to amaze me." I sighed deeply while walking through the library on my way back to the training hall. As usual, out of boredom, I decided to walk through one of the countless bookshelves. For the change of pace, I looked at the books and picked up 'Magic theory' which caught my eye. "Why do I feel like this would be interesting?" I thought and opened it, hoping that I would get something new.
As I was reading the book, I decided that I should study more about magic rituals. Maybe I could find a way to return and stay in Eyluania without a summoner. After all, if those bastards killed off the elven race... there wouldn't be anyone who could summon me.
"Horrifying..." I exclaimed when I realized that I could be stuck in this library forever. I flipped through the pages of Magic theory, thinking that maybe there are any good spells for summoning someone or making people forget. But after flipping for a few seconds, I got bored and put down the book.
"How long have I been here already?" I asked while lying on my back. I looked at the ceiling with an empty expression. I knew that I need to give myself some sort of goal, otherwise I would go insane. I have lived three centuries without any contact with any sentient being and I was beginning to see hallucinations and see things from the corner of my eyes.
"Should I just meditate for a couple of decades?" I muttered before shaking my head. "No. What if I miss the summon!" I said as if I were talking to someone. "Maybe... I could try learning everything there is in this library?" I asked myself while standing up.
"Magic... Cultivation... Arts... Technology..." I said as I started writing down different subjects in order to memorize them better. With the help of all the tools, relics, and books here, I could become one hell of a monster. Maybe even a god! I smiled at the thought and realized that this was all thanks to the late demon king. "Helpulchure, can't believe I am saying this... But I owe you one." I clenched my fist tightly and thought that if Helpulchure's descendants would be alive when he would leave this library, I would reward them greatly.

Flames danced in front of my face. I smiled as I watched this damn library burn and the smell of smoke filled my nostrils. I took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. I felt relieved as the fire engulfed the entire library, turning it into ashes. I felt nothing but happiness as I watched hundreds of miles of shelves crumble and burn.
"Ten... Nine..." I extended my hands and started counting until the library would begin to extinguish the flames. "Eight... Seven..." I kept counting until the only thing left of the library was a pile of ash. I smiled as I thought of how stupid it was to keep living in this library. "Six... Five..." I spun around as if I was dancing. I walked over to the pile of ashes and started to pick up the remains.
"Four... Three..." I closed my eyes and stopped moving. "Two... One..." I opened my eyes and the library was back to normal. It was as if I never started a fire, to begin with. I picked up my journal that I kept filling for the last six hundred years and filled in the notes.
"The library itself is in the constant state of a time loop, where it will constantly rebuild itself the moment it is not observed by any sentient or even mechanical intelligence..." I spoke as I wrote it down in the journal. "Library itself is in a pocket dimension which acts as a seal to my existence within this universe, therefore I am not cast out back to Earth." I continued writing. I thought for a minute and drew a circle with a symbol of time and space on it. "If I could find a way to refine the ritual that bounded the space and time into this pocket dimension and bind myself to some sort of magical artifact... Magical beast... Something powerful enough to hold the seal.... I might find a way to leave it without returning to Earth."
I walked toward the shelf and placed my journal inside. After that, I walked to the treasure room and took out the golden goblet that contained the dragon's blood. I went to the main chamber and began drinking it while thinking about the reason I don't give up and return back to Earth.
What did I have there? I couldn't remember my mother's face, I knew the writing language as some of the books here were from Earth. But I couldn't speak it, only read. I forgot even my own nationality. Thousand years did a toll on my memories.
The only reason I remembered my revenge, was because I created a magical mirror that contained my memories with Miranda. I did it the moment I realized that my memories were slowly fading away; I just couldn't lose her. Anyone but her.
I also had memories of those seven bastards, who put me in this state. With each passing day, I tormented those poor statues and vented my rage onto them while imagining I was beating up those heroes. It was quite relaxing.
After taking another sip, I heard a loud screech inside my ears that made me flinch.
"What the hell?" I exclaimed as I stood up. The sound was inside my head, so I was sure no one entered the library. But just in case I closed my eyes and scanned the entire library for a life form, but I came out empty.
"What was that?" I asked myself while rubbing my temple. The sound was so annoying that it felt like someone was poking my ear with a needle. It didn't feel like it was inside my head, so I wasn't sure what it was. "Maybe I'm going crazy?" I thought while covering my ears with both hands. However, the sound continued.
"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...."
"What the fuck?" I screamed as I covered my eyes with my hands and squeezed them. I tried to see through my fingers, but I could still see the horrible noise. I opened my eyes and the noise was still there, only louder. "What the fuck!?" I shouted as I walked down the library and picked up some herbs for a migraine.
"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAAAA"
The sound became unbearable as I was about to drop the herbs when the sound suddenly changed.
"SAVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV...."
"Seiv...?" I asked myself as realization hit me. Time here is around a thousand times slower than in Eyluania. Therefore this could be a summoner's invite. "Save?!"
My eyes widened in shock as I saw the portal open in front of me. This was my ticket out. I decided to stay calm and ran as fast as I could to pick up the [Ring of the forbidden library] in case I needed to return back here to pick up some dragon's blood.
After I found the ring, I clenched my fists tightly and walked through the portal. "Here we go."
