BARK! BARK!
I woke up with a groan, feeling the weight of exhaustion tugging at my eyelids. Peluche's persistent cries throughout the night had disrupted my sleep, leaving me bleary-eyed and fatigued. With a sigh, I rubbed my eyes, mustering the energy to face the day ahead.
The urgency in Peluche's cries spurred me into action, propelling me out of bed and towards his room. As I swung open the door, a sense of dread washed over me at the sight that greeted me. Peluche's playpen, once a haven of toys and comfort, now lay in disarray, with soiled pads and scattered toys strewn haphazardly across the floor.
"Oh my God," I muttered, my heart sinking as I took in the chaotic scene before me. Peluche, ever eager for attention, bounded towards me, his tail wagging enthusiastically as he greeted me with fervent licks.
