Chen Xi visited when he was done with his work. As soon as he stepped inside the house, Lin Ye grabbed him and locked him inside her bedroom.
Chen Xiao Ye was already asleep in the other room so Lin Ye was not worried. He was a well-behaved child and Lin Ye thanked the heavens for that.
He ate what he was given and he was obedient and did everything as he was told by Lin Ye.
Lin Ye felt as if she was caring for her own child. She could not help but feel a mixture of strange emotions when she looked at that face that looked so much like hers.
Chen Xi fixed his shirt as he stared at her flushed face, "Was it hard?"
Lin Ye sighed. Her anger was reduced by fifty per cent, "Not at all. Care to explain?"
Chen Xi did not answer. He simply walked over and wrapped her thin frame in his arms. The heat enveloped Lin Ye and she suddenly felt very relaxed but she could not forget her initial mission.
