Chapter 41: Deadly Decision
Michael had to make his choice, now.
Michael, Maleva, and Lycanna all reported back to Maleva's mother after heading back to town.
Pretty similar to how this happened before, reporting back to mother after going out of the village, however, one thing was totally different this time: They were now in possession of the sacred and lost moonstone, which the young man had obtained from Catherine, the unusual nun.
The mayor's office entirely lit up as Michael pulled the brilliant moonstone out of his leather bag.
No one had seen anything like this before.
It shone so bring and with so much light that it blinded everyone in the room for a few seconds when it was first taken out of the bag.
"The moonstone…" Maleva's mother uttered, visibly impressed to see such a relic brought back to town.
She was finally in the possession of one. Something she had no idea was going to happen in the first place. The reality of it was that she didn't have a lot of hopes for them to bring it back, but they obviously did, and this changed everything.
"It's so bright…" Lycanna pointed out the obvious.
"It is…" Maleva added.
"The moonstone…" Maleva's mother observed the item with a grin on her face. An item that was still in the brave hunter's hands.
"So, this is what you wanted us to find, huh?" Michael mentioned to the mentor and leader of the small community in the woods.
"That's right. This is all for you, dear Michael. With this relic, you'll be able to make your ultimate choice—do you want to become a werewolf forever, or do you prefer coming back to being a full-time human?" Maleva's mother asked him one more time. However, everything was different today. This time, they had the moonstone in their possession.
They could truly use it to make a big difference because right now, Michael was between two worlds. He stood between the world of humans and the world of wolves.
This could not possibly be a good thing at all.
…
A few seconds passed without Michael giving any form of an answer.
"So, what is it going to be?" the mother asked him one more time.
"It's all good and stuff, but there's something more urgent that we need to discuss first…" Michael brought up to the mayor of Cherrywood.
Then, as soon as he mentioned this emergency, he spoke of, both Maleva and Lycanna became remarkably silent. Almost as if the wind had been knocked out of them.
"Something more urgent you say, boy?" the great mother folded her arms together right underneath her huge tits, which were larger than what her daughter had to offer to the hunter.
"I'm afraid it is the case, ma'am…"
"How can anything be more important than this moonstone and your werewolf condition? We have to act now, otherwise, something bad can happen to you," she began explaining to him.
"Without wanting to miss you any respect, why is it more important than anything else? My werewolf condition is just… Fine—"
His voice suddenly cracked and broke into…
*Cough, cough, cough!*
The hunter wouldn't stop coughing!
His back was split in half as he couldn't stand normally anymore.
Then, he coughed so much that blood came out of his mouth.
Something was not right.
After collapsing down to his knees, more blood was vomited and the three ladies came running for him. Urgently surrounding him as it was clear that he wasn't doing good, at all.
"Mother! What's going on with him?"
"He's dying! He's dying!" Lycanna feared for his life.
"That's exactly what I've been saying this entire time. He can't live his life like this, between a man and a wolf forever. He has to make his decision, now. He has to choose what he's going to become. He has to act, now, otherwise, this will only become worse and worse…" mother quickly explained to everyone present in her office.
Without skipping a beat, the mayor of Cherrywood came down to her knees as well, joining the others. She pushed everyone aside and circled one arm around the sick man's shoulders.
"There… This should help you stabilize as we bring you to the emergency room, Michael…" Swift like the wind, and before he expected anything at all, Mother leaned forward and kissed him right on the lips. Which sent both Malevan and Lycanna flying back in pure confusion and shock.
Mother did not only kiss him on the mouth, but she also robustly shoved her pink tongue in his mouth, french-kissing him right there on the spot. The daughter perfectly knew that Michael had to be helped, but she wasn't expecting her mother to kiss the sick man who she was hoping to become her first boyfriend.
This definitely left a sour taste in her mouth.
"Mom…"
"She's kissing him…" Lycanna whispered, pointing out the obvious, as if Maleva hadn't noticed yet.
Mother's tongue nearly penetrated at the entrance of his throat, she went so deep into Redheart's mouth.
It was quite perverted, especially on an exterior and surface level. However, when she was done…
"Ugh…" Michael could finally breathe somewhat normally again. He had been successfully saved by her mother.
"W—what happened?" the hunter asked in sheer confusion as he looked around and saw that Maleva's mother was leaning toward him, her big tits erotically shoved into his face.
"Michael!" Maleva was so glad to find out that he was okay, after all.
"He's back! He's back with you!" Lycanna celebrated just as much as she did.
"Exactly what I was telling you about before you collapsed—you have to make a choice: Human or werewolf."
…
Uncertain, the worried hunter stared into the dark abyss at this point, confused by what he should do…
I was never born a wolf. Always have been human. If I ever commit to this, that means I'll never be human again. Can I really do that?
Redheart asked himself.
"You know what? You don't have to give me your final answer today. I will give you one more night to decide and make your final decision. At dawn tomorrow, I'll need your answer, though," the mother declared to him.
"Understood."
"This is not strictly about your fate either, it's also the pack. It's about our pack and the fact that we have a wolf pack without a male for so long. Too long."
Too long without a male? What is that supposed to mean?
"Mom… There's something equally important we need to discuss first…" her daughter cut in.
"Um? What is it?"
"The shadow werewolf is back! It's not dead!" Michael, the wannabe hunter, suddenly shouted in her office to finally break the news to the mother.
