"I heard the news"
As I step inside the mansion, Damian sits there on the lounge. He is still awake in the middle of the night. Feet tapping onto the floor to express the anxiety. Do all the news spread quickly or did he investigate about this on his own? Well, he must have been waiting for the news.
It is no wonder he found out right away. "Yeah, the detective took care of it" I reply, waving my hand to beckon at Ken. "Excuse me" Quietly, Ken murmurs before walking away. "Thank you. I am sure Nesta will be pleased for justice" Damian stands up from the lounge, smiling.
Justice? What a hilarious joke. I press a beam to display across my face. "Shall we have some whiskey? You can think of it as celebration for managing to bring justice" I tilt my head. Ceasing the man's steps. For a moment, his eyes stare through mine, as if assuring himself.
