Ben had met his daughter just outside the gate and welcomed her in. He drove the car and packed it well.
"How was your final day in school?"
"Quite good paps! I have finished the exams!" she said, trying to sound so cheerful.
She was indeed boiling inside. A lot had happened within these few hours. But she was dying within by the huge secret she carried. Just last night a stranger from another world told her these were not her biological parents! How was she to react to that?
But more pressing was the issue of her being a partner to some kind of a saviour of the planets! She had supposedly met the so-called saviour but he didn't quite look like it even though he too had an idea of what was taking place.
What troubled her most was that she had not activated the medallion. The moment she was about to find out how to do so an earthquake had occurred! Are these incidents unrelated!? She wondered.
"But I have a guest tonight! This is the night he promised to return. I will be patient until then!" she consoled herself and thus went about her duties as usual.
After offering to do the dishes her mother, Rose had said she would do them and so she wanted to rush to her room. She couldn't wait to see the gentleman coming again from the box. Although her father had heard her scream last night she found out that her secret was still safe with her.
It was now nearing midnight and the box had not yet glowed. Noel was wondering if the man was going to come. Just when her doubts reached the peak something happened!
The chain and the medallion resurfaced again and started glowing. Suddenly a dazzling light enveloped the suitcase and when it flooded it rose up in the air with swoosh sound and out appeared a man.
He was the same one as the one who came the previous night. This time Noel was not terrified. She had been expecting him so anxiously.
The man still had that elegant smile on his face and his voice was still as appealing as before.
"Your highness! Did I keep you waiting? It has been four hectic days!"
The smile that Noel had suddenly got replaced by a look of surprise.
"4 days! You were here just last night, 24 hours ago!
"Oh my bad! I forgot to explain to you how time varies when you travel from one realm to another. But don't worry soon you will have the Token of the time traveller activated and you will know all of these and much more! Speaking of which I must say you did well finding your mate, my little efforts paid off!"
He said as he made himself comfortable on the only chair in the room.
"So it was you that made us meet?"
"Of course, that was my task. I was appointed to help you speed things up!"
"But the medallion, how do we activate it? We tried but it couldn't!"
"That is why I am here. You see, something terrible has happened back in your kingdom and that medallion has to be activated right now!" The man said firmly as he stood up near the box.
"What happened!" she asked feeling anxious.
"You will soon, first you need to get that medallion activated!"
"How now, you said until I found him, but..." she sounded lost.
"You did!" he simply said.
"It didn't work! What were we supposed to do?" She genuinely asked.
"My help is to bring him over to you. You know what you are supposed to do. The voice is clear in your head. Don't resist it. Remember, there is no other time! The time is now!"
As he spoke he pointed his hands in the box and it started glowing even brightest.
"What are you doing?" Noel asked standing up, alarmed.

In his room Frank could not sleep. He kept going over the incidents of the past hours. From the box to the grandfather's words to all the happenings in school. He felt mesmerized by the fact that for the first time he had held candid talks with Noel.
"I actually told her she was beautiful!" he smiled to himself. "But...daughter of the Old one!" The issue troubled her.
He had understood from his grandfather that he was to stop the Dark Lord. Somehow he was to fight him? But how? Then Noel had told him that he was supposed to help her activate the medallion. He didn't know how.
"Until the two become one!" his grandfather had said but the Dark Lord would not allow it. He then remembered the feeling he had while he stood with Noel on the field earlier that evening. He felt drawn to her.
Frank touched his hand and the wristwatch resurfaced on him.
"What am I supposed to do?" he asked the wristwatch. To his surprise the watch glowed and a day of light shot up then descended into the brown suitcase box. He stood up and looked at the box. Suddenly there was a myriad of dazzling lights rising and swirling around the box. It rose up to his size and Frank felt the lights pulling him. Then he felt like he was swimming through a pool of warm water. Many different colours passed all around him in a lightening speed. He felt like he was falling through a tunnel and suddenly he landed on his knees!
Ring!
A ringing sound echoed in his ears as the light dispersed. He had unconsciously shut his eyes due to the dazzling radiance. Now that he felt it gone he opened his eyes!
A figure of a lady was standing in front of him! She looked stunned and her wide open mouth said it all.
NOEL!
The figure was none other than Noel. Frank quickly stood up and looked around.
"Am I dreaming?" he asked. "Where am I?"
Noel took sometimes without talking then looked at her box. It had stopped glowing just now.
She turned to Frank.
"You are not dreaming Frank. It is happening!"
"But how did I get here? I was just in my room when the box started glowing!"
"Yes I know. It is the guest from the other world who sent for you. He said we are running out of time and we must activate the medallion now!" Noel patiently explained. Frank looked at her keenly from head to toe. Noel wondered what he was looking for. His eyes lingered long on the chain in her neck.
"Here is the medallion," she said and unbuttoned her blouse to reveal the golden metal with the drawing perfectly lying in between her two nice lumps. The breasts moved rhythimically as her heart beat increased.
Frank was shocked and turned to look away.
"You could just take the gold out instead of..."
"Frank!" she called with authority. He was stunned. She stood up and walked in front of him. Her blouse still unbuttoned. She was so tempting that his heart started palpitating. He couldn't believe it had already come to that.
As she stood before him and he looked at her face, he could see through her eyes. She was pleading for him. The eyes were like gemstones in clear water. He looked deep into her and saw passionate flames of love rising up. His eyes went to the lips! They were soft and wet. So inviting. He found himself biting his own lips by just staring at hers.
"Can I hold your hands?" She asked as she already reached out to the one with the wristwatch!
"Take me whole!" he thought! He was burning for her.
He let her hold his hands as he moved closer to her. Their bodies touched and he could feel the warmth rising between them. The sparks grew into a fire!
He looked for her lips. He yearned for them. He slowly moved closer to them. He felt her trembling. His left hand went behind her, pulling her head closer!
And they kissed!
