"Is it so bad if I tell you that I want my whole life back, I don't want to be some miraculously found princess" I whispered settling on Luca's bed as we got back to his room.
It's been two days since I had my episode and they finally discharged me from the royal hospital.
"But this is a chance of being free like you've always wanted" Luca said sitting next to me.
"This isn't the kind of freedom I was looking forward to, I wanted to be free, free from you supernaturals, see human freedom and now I found out that I might even be one of the supernaturals I hate so much" I said with gritted teeth and I knew I messed up when Luca took his hands away.
"You're to be Queen of these supernaturals Fayre, you can't hate them" he said.
"Says the one who was cowardly enough to ignore me for years" I bit at him.
"I was trying to protect you" he yelled and that spiked my anger.
"Protect me! You say you were trying to protect me but that's just a big fat lie Luca, you're just like them all, supernaturals with big egos always thinking humans are just weak things that can be used to clean up your messes and the moment you found out I might actually not be human, you're so eager to show the world that I am your queen" I yelled, at this point we were up and yelling and Luca looks like he is going to burst from anger.
"Well you are weak Fayre, all you humans do is complain and complain, how will I announce you my queen when at the sight of dragon you're fainting like a little pussy, I announce you and they kill you off the next day, why can't you see I'm trying to protect you!" He yelled and it was already too late before he saw the pain in my eyes and clamped his mouth shut.
"We'll better go find yourself a strong mate because I'm out of here" I whispered before walking out angrily. He didn't follow and that broke me more, my heart wanted him to run after me and tell me he was wrong, tell me I'm not just a stupid frail human, tell me he doesn't think I'm weak, but my head was happy he didn't follow me, I need to think.
I've been walking and walking, I ran out of the castle and just walked unconsciously which is a very bad idea because now I'm lost, as usual.
The sun will go down soon and I don't want to wait till then to figure out what will happen to me.
I didn't finish that thought before I felt a hand cover my nose and a piercing pain around my abdomen before everything went blank.

My ears are ringing and everywhere is so dark.
"Are you sure this is her, she looks like an ordinary mundane to me" I heard a voice say.
"She isn't, I can assure you she's worth more than you can see" another voice replied.
I tried moving groaning in pain as my whole body hurt but something heavy seemed to be weighing me down, like chains.
"Good you're awake" the first voice said.
"Who are you and why can't I see anything?" I asked with a crooked voice holding my stomach as that seems to be where the pain is the most.
"I am non of your concern, you can't see because you've been blindfolded" the voice answered calmly, it's a female voice.
"What do you want from me?" I asked shakily, I wouldn't mind Luca being here even if that meant he'll gloth that he was right and I'm a weak human.
"Ohh I want a lot but first off, I want you broken and useless for your people then I can take the revenge of every little things your people have done to mine, they rape, they beat, they wipe and they make us suffer and where's best to take out your revenge if it's not their queen's body, I will break you beyond repair and make that your King pay for everything he has done" she whispered in a taunting voice and I swallowed. What have I gotten myself into!

LUCA'S P.O.V
I shouldn't have said anything I said, I hurt her and that was something I've promised myself not to do, at least not anymore. She's right, she isn't just some weak girl, she's one of the strongest human I know even if she hasn't figured that out yet and I made a mistake by saying those hurtful words to her and also left her to walk away.
I should fix this. I'm sure she'll be at one of the servant quarters, I just have to find her and ask for her forgiveness, I don't want her to stay mad at me.
I walked around asking for her and everyone kept saying they've not seen her and I'm starting to have some type of feelings that I don't like.
It is like she vanished from the castle, I hurriedly walked to the throne room where the Fair family seems to be having tea and they all looked up as I burst inside.
"Where is my mate?" I said with clenched teeth staring every one of them down.
"Fayre? What's going on, I thought you were together" Queen Nuria said looking worried.
Ohh heavens please tell me she didn't step out of the castle!
I walked out quickly yelling out her name as I walked literally everywhere. How did she get out of the castle without anyone seeing her!
I noticed the royal family also followed me outside looking so confused.
"What is going on your highness?" Queen Nuria asked stopping me as I frantically looked around praying she just walks round the corner.
"Fayre is missing, we had an argument and she walked out on me, I thought to give her space but now I can't find her anywhere in this damn castle" I said frustrated as I ran out of the castle gate ignoring the scared look on the queen's face.
I kept yelling her name but stopped dead in my track when I got to a clearing, and what I saw made me want to fall, cry or kill.
'An eye for an eye' was written with blood and I can smell my mate all over it.
I heard a gasp as I looked up to see that the Queen followed me and I caught her in time for her not to fall in the pool of her daughter's blood.
Someone has my mate and they don't mind hurting her to prove a point, to me or to the Fair land?
