Chapter 119: Arise Warriors
As the lizard creature came when they didn't expect it, both Adam and all the other goblins failed to react in time. Unlike the humanoid creature, the lizard did not waste time standing around.
The creature lunged right at Adam. Revealing its large and scaley body for all to see. But only a few got a good glimpse. Said few were, of course, the kobolds with strong night vision and fast reflexes.
It was only after the lizard had taken its second step that Adam saw the incoming danger. But at that range, not only will the arrows in his hands be useless, but his feet will likely not be able to get up fast enough. So Adam could only back down in hopes that his attacker might miss.
But that seemed unlukely as the lizard opened its large mouth to accommodate his whole head.
Right before the gaping jaws could descend...
