Passed out on the floor was Sky.
Adam was surprised upon realizing this, but he didn't have the time to contemplate it. Moonclaw suddenly lowered herself. Allowing Adam to descend from her back.
"Take, person."
Moonclaw grunted. Adam understood what she meant. The kobold deity in front of him wanted him to take Sky. Adam looked at the giant wolf and asked, "Why, where to?"
The wolf did not answer, but Moonclaw did.
"Wherever."
Adam paused for a moment, not truly sure of what he should do. In the end, he went over to Sky and took a closer look at her. Her skin was a light brown, just like Erden had seen it in his dreams. But unlike her dream self, Sky now had grayish-white hair. Even the fur on her tail was white instead of its usual black.
Adam did not know what Sky had experienced since she met with Erden, but he could see that whatever she experienced was no laughing matter.
