Basking under the sun, a cold-blooded vine-looking boa with dark green scales like leaves and a red gem in between its forehead sleeps with its tongue flicking to sense any nearby prey after its morning chores of absorbing the rich life essences from the vibrant green trees around it.
After a few minutes, the boa sensed two different scents in the air.
A dead boar and its favorite scent.
A rich life essence.
With greedy eyes, the boa flicked its tongue rapidly to get an accurate sense of where it was coming from before dashing toward the scent.
After a few seconds of tracing the scent, the Vine Red-Gem Boa arrived to see the dead boar and the wood-like stick with rich essence in the hands of a two-legged prey.
Only for it to disappear before its very eyes.
With shock and anger, the wether beast roared towards the two-legged beast to hand it over or face death.
