Cleaning the blood from his sword, Cain squats to look at the slain wether beast beneath him, slicing it into large pieces that will serve as his meal while deep in thought. He is covered in dry blood and flesh, either his own or the slain beast's.
"I am sure stronger than when I started a week ago," Cain thought.

When Cain realizes that he obtains less essence from slain wether beasts of a lower rank, he finally concludes, "As expected." Last week, Cain obtained 2-5 times as much essence when he slew a Second Rank wether beast at the Awakened Stage, depending on the tier and stage differences. Currently, Cain is at the Enlightened Stage Upper Tier, and he gets nothing for killing First Rank wether beasts. Second Rank wether beasts are lower, and upper-tier beasts are more powerful, which gives him 1.2 points depending on the rank differences.
