After making up his mind, Pei Xingcheng smiled at her. "Miss Ghost, no matter what happens in the future, I promise you, I will always be by your side. And, I will find a solution to this problem, but I promise, I will never leave you alone," he declared as if making a solemn vow to her.
"Your fears, they won't come true," he added. "I will do anything and everything to make sure that we will stay together, forever."
Tang Zhixi was moved by his words. But deep down, she knew that reality would be quite different from what they wanted. She wasn't certain where their unusual relationship would lead, but she knew she was willing to give everything she had to be with him.
Whenever he needed her, she would be there. And when the time came for him to understand that a relationship with a ghost couldn't be, she would part from his life with a smile, for that would be her final act of love for him.
