*Ughh…*
Sho moaned. His head was agonizingly painful. Apart from that, his body showed signs that he was unable to move it. He tried to sense his body as to why and noted the reason. It was because of overexertion of his muscles and the wounds he had received earlier.
*It's not a dream, huh. Well, tough luck. This is my reality now.*
He weakly opened his eyes and saw three pairs of eyes quickly darted on him.
"Take this." The heroic lady shoved a red liquid in a test tube towards his mouth.
He wanted to protest. Who in their right mind would randomly intake some weird red liquid that seemed to be so out of this world?! However, he was too weak to talk or even move. Before he could protest, the heroic lady was successful in feeding him the red liquid. Soon, he felt his wounds healing at incredible speed. Despite the fact that he was still lacking energy to move, overall, all visible and invisible wounds were gone in his body.
*Healing potion? Amazing.*
"It's not too amazing. It doesn't work the higher your rank is. Also, there's a limit to how many one person can buy." a baritone voice cut-off his inner thoughts.
Regaining some of his strength, Sho sat up. A shy smile appeared on his face when he discovered the heroic lady was close to him because she assisted him. Heroic lady didn't strike like she minded as she moved away and sat back where it looked like her original location on the circle.
In Sho's memory, there was a girl he liked and was close to. That kind of physical contact was normal for Sho. That is, before everything fell apart from the original Sho's world and he started to lock himself away from society. However, for him, that was taking over Sho's body, he felt it was inappropriate. Was he conservative? What the heck? A man in an age like this was still conservative? He frowned as he tried to discern himself. He felt that he was from the same era of Sho even without his memories.
However, he put those random thoughts aside when he remembered something. Just like he didn't know his name, he also didn't know the name of the three who had survived with him.
"We haven't introduced ourselves yet. I'm Sho Chad. Ah, I'm half-Yamato, half-Germania. Most of my features came from my dad."
He followed Sho's habitual explanation. Sho wasn't like the people of Yamato. He inherited most of his features from his dad who was born from Germania. Although he had black hair, his light brown eyes were very distinguished from Yamato and he also didn't have chinky eyes. That's why Sho got used to explaining it along with his introduction.
*Hm?*
He stopped for a second.
*Yamato? Germania?*
Though most of the things on Sho's memories were familiar with him, this naming of counties were dissimilar! He didn't know of any Yamato or Germania country at all! But he does think he knew some that are similar…
Japan. Germany.
*Hm?! What? Where did those names pop out from?* He gasped realizing that he knew of the two names. They were countries that he was more than familiar with!
Yes!
Japan looked exactly the same as Sho's Yamato! And though he didn't know Germania, he felt it might have to do with Germany…
*So, this is really not my world? I thought everything was almost the same, but there's some that felt unfamiliar too. Although I know I've transmigrated, there's the possibility of me transmigrating to someone from the same world and era. I was really hoping it was like that. But with the distinction of names of countries and continents… I know this is not my world at all…*
He felt a different pain in his heart. As if he was grieving. But he didn't know what he was grieving at all. Even when he felt like he wanted to know, no memories surfaced in his mind. He just had to give up. He was lucky enough to find clues about his origins.
"I'm Hikari Tsukiyomi, thank you for helping us out." the heroic lady introduced, pulling Sho back to this reality.
He shook all those thoughts away and focused on the present.
Looking at the heroic lady now, she was really beautiful. There was a reason why he called her a heroic lady, it was because of her deposition that put her similar to a female lead. She had brown hair, even after what they've been through, her hair still shined bright just like the glint on her brown eyes. She also had a pale smooth skin that could be compared to jade. And even with just jeans and a shirt that got covered with a robe, he didn't know where it came from, she still looked like a goddess. The island that was being illuminated with the rising sun just emphasized her beauty. She had maturity, understanding and kindness, it was as when you did wrong, she could make it right for you. There was not an ounce of fake in her being at all. She radiated positivity influencing those who met her eyes.
"Gouki Setsuhi." the man in suit simply stated.
Sho almost coughed out blood when he looked at the man.
*This… the heroic lady and this cool man looked good together!*
He subconsciously contemplated as he quickly assessed Gouki. Regardless if he was just sitting on the sand, he looked like a prince having his vacation! He is just handsome as fuck! He once again felt that life was unfair while looking at Gouki. Even when he wasn't doing anything and just blankly looking in disinterest, he became the interest of all the people around him! It might sound like an exaggeration, but the man seemed to have it all. Looks, body, bearing, brains and even in survivability! Sho could only sigh and lament knowing even without him there, the man would surely survive on his own.
"What do you mean? We should thank Gouki-nii instead!" the middle school boy shouted in clear adoration for Gouki.
Sho could only smile wryly. *And there goes a victim. This boy looked like he would fight anyone who didn't show adoration to Gouki. What had happened while I was unconscious? Last time, me and this boy could still somehow work together…*
"Akihiko…" Hikari seemed unsure what to say to the boy.
"It's okay. Thank you, Mister Gouki. You really did save us back then."
Gouki frowned at him. Sho instinctively backed away.
*What's his problem? Why does he look irritated when I'm thanking him?* Sho was lost.
"Don't call me "Mister." Gouki would do."
Sho was at a total loss. *Surely, this guy wasn't irritated because I called him "mister," right?*
He felt that Gouki wasn't that type of a guy. But he couldn't think of any other reason why he would get irritated with him…
"Okay, Gouki. Hm… that doesn't sound right! I should call you brother, instead! Man, you're so cool earlier! You're like a superhero who can do everything!"
Sho instinctively wanted to hide when the man glared at him.
*What did I do this time? I'm praising you!*
"Being a hero would cause your death, Sho. Don't seek your own death. Especially with what would come to us."
"Huh?"
*Why did that sound familiar?*
He came with an ah-ha! He realized that Sho said the same after his graduation. Although he had the same thought even before, when he repeated that on his graduation, it had an even greater effect on Sho. That was really the time he stopped caring about people. He wouldn't even bat an eye at people who get bullied or even if there's a crime close to him. Unless it was related to his best friend, he didn't care at all.
"Haha," he awkwardly laughed, seeing Gouki was still glaring at him. "Y-yes. Being a hero could lead to death. I'll remember."
"Don't just remember it. Do it. Don't be a hero and lose your life. You don't suit to be one. You don't even have any useful skill to attack or defend yourself."
*It's not that I wanted to have no attack or defense skill at all!* He wanted to protest but seeing how the man wouldn't take no for an answer he had no choice but to nod.
"Gouki, it's not bad to help people at all," Hikari interjected.
"For you, it won't be too bad. You have an ability to protect yourself. You're just a bad match with those murlocs. With humans it would work. But this kid, he better not. It's better for you not to experience the cruelty of humans."
Hikari and Sho were left speechless while Akihiko didn't know what they were talking about. He was still too young. But Hikari and Sho realized what Gouki wanted to say.
Sho remembered the guy who wanted to kill everyone with him. And because Sho stood up for the rest, he was targeted. He was really lucky to have survived. He understood what Gouki wanted to say. If he kept doing what he did, it was like him seeking his own death.
"Does this mean this wouldn't be the first and last?" Suddenly that thought struck him.
Hikari's face became grave. Gouki still wore his blank expression, while Akihiko seemed to not care at all.
"It won't. So, try not to court your death on a daily basis."
*Should I court my death on an hourly basis, instead?* He wanted to joke but knew it wasn't the right time.
He was saved from his impulse when a voice echoed around the tiny island.
Sho finally remembered the person he saw before he had lost his consciousness.
*Person? Nope. Definitely not.*
He corrected as he saw the one who "talked." Pure white aura was radiating in his body, along with it, white top, white pants and white robe was draped around him. A dazzling white wings were also in his back while on top of his golden gorgeously messy locks floated a golden halo.
"Angel…"
The angel chuckled.
The angel stated, his voice sounded musical.
Sho frowned because as he said "facilitating" the groups' faces suddenly darkened.
*It seems not a good word.* His calm heartbeat suddenly started to pound loudly but he didn't interrupt.
"What is Super Phenomena?"
The Angel nodded. He seems satisfied that he's asking the most important part but Sho was disappointed at his answer.
The angel looked like a big baby who had been alone for too long and was excited to mingle with them.
"God Points?" He unconsciously uttered even though he had the feeling he already knew the function.
<500 God Points successfully received.>
"This…" but he immediately noticed something in the message. "We aren't the first to complete a Hidden Quest?"
Being in the body of a gamer, he knew that if there's a special reward for things like this, there should also be a reward for first completion.
The other three were shocked and stared at the space in front of them. He knew they were checking the message they received earlier.
*He sure is talkative.*
He thought he heard some delicate information, but he could not remember it.
"What do I need to know about these Quests?"
All four of the survivors were shocked. They didn't know they weren't in their world anymore. As they looked around, they realized that the place was really different from their world. Their Earth should have many advanced technologies! But until now, they haven't found any trace of the search group that should've been looking for them!
Aside from that, they noticed how the sun was red-purple, it was different from their own sun!
They all felt hope.
*Devil…* Sho almost spat but held himself.
"I don't even want to see you…" Sho muttered. But he knew he was helpless.
"It's not the time to sulk. Use this time to know your skills. Also, you can change the system to activate your skills through your mind. It's easier than shouting. We never knew what would happen. If we lose our voice, then our skills would be useless too. Buy anything you need. We already bought some for preparation." Gouki cut-off.
Sho nodded because Gouki was right.
They badly needed to prepare for what is yet to come. If those murlocs or any stronger monsters attacked in their world, there would be more casualties. In a way, they were lucky that it was a train incident, and it wasn't even the peak hour of the train. If it were to happen in the capital. They don't know what the outcome would be.
*We need to get stronger. Fast. And to do that, we need to learn about ourselves.*
