Liliah opened her eyes.
Liah: "How could it be that I'm not dead?" she muttered to herself.
Zach: "Do you think that you can choose your own death?" he shouted at Liliah.
Liliah: "DAD!" she screamed in fear.
Zach: "Did you purposely create a bad atmosphere to make Lucy unhappy when you saw that she married Theo?"
Liliah: "Is Theo really marrying Lucy?" she asked with teary eyes.
Zach: "How can you be so evil?" How can you use such a way to make your own sister unhappy?" He shouted at her.
Liliah: "Am I evil? My sister snatched away my husband; my husband killed my child; and sent me to a mental hospital. THEY ARE THE EVIL ONES; THEY DESERVE TO DIE," she said, smiling, with tears flowing from her eyes.
Zach slapped Liliah.
Liliah: "Hahaha, I'm evil," she said laughing.
Gracy: "You have already divorced; why can't you just let your sister be happy?"
Zach made Gracy calm.
Zach: "Alright, alright. She is already in such a state that you don't have to argue with her." He patted Gracy's back.
Gracy: "She dares to curse our daughter; I'm already being kind by not beating her to death." She said it angrily.
Zach: "If we beat her to death, then how can we offer an allied marriage with the Matthew family?" he whispered to Gracy.
Zach turned toward Liliah.
Zach: "Liliah, you would not want to spend your whole life in this hospital, right?"
'I do not want to spend my whole life here. I want to go out." Lliah thought.
Liliah: "Dad, I beg you, I don't want to stay here. Please get me out of here. Even if you dislike me, I'm still your daughter."
Zach: "I know I'm here to get you out. I have arranged an allied marriage with the Matthew family. I want you to be married into the Matthew family. Their family is powerful, Dylan. Matthew is handsome and will be the future heir of the Matthew group. It would be a blessing if you could get married into the Matthew family."
"It turns out that they want to take advantage of me again," Liliah thought.
Liliah: "Since it's such a good deal, why not marry off my sister?"
Gracy slapped Liliah.
Gracy: "What did you say? "You look like a person that won't live long; it will be best to marry you off."
Liliah: "If I don't agree, I won't be able to get out of the mental hospital, right?" She asked, holding her cheeks, where Gracy had slapped her.
Gracy: "If you don't agree with this marriage, who will come to such a place to see you?" "Do you want to live here the rest of your life?"
Liliah: "I agree," she said firmly. 'Even if I have to go through the most dangerous place, it will be better than dying here. "If I can get out of here, I will surely take revenge,' Liliah thought.
AFTER WEDDING
'Today I got married again. It was a very simple wedding. It did not even feel like a wedding. We just signed the papers. no close relative; no good friends; no farewell to parents. no bridegroom to welcome me. not even wishes and blessings just getting from one house to another.' Liliah thought.
Liliah walked inside Matthew's mansion alone, and one of the maids showed her the way to a room. She sat in the bed.
Liliah: "Hmm, I'm hungry. I will go and look for food first," she mumbled to herself, then stood up to make her way down.
On her way down, she heard the maids talking.
Maid1: "Ahh, I hear the young bride is very beautiful, but what a pity."
Maid2: "Don't you think that Mr. Matthew is committing a sin?" "Such a beautiful lady will die soon."
Liliah, who was listening to all these whispers behind the wall, thought, 'Die! What does that mean? I will die?' and she continued to eavesdrop.
Maid1: "Be careful; you could be heard."
Maid2: "How could it be heard there are only two of us here, but the curse of the Matthew family's first wife is not a very big secret." Didn't the father of the bride sacrifice his own daughter's life for money?"
Maid1: "Yes, if not for the fact that the first wife of the Matthew family will die—an unnatural death—or else our sir could have married madam Qira long ago." Sir is finding a dupe for Madam Qira,"
Liliah made her way back to the room, closed the door, slid down the door, and began crying, 'So I'm just a scapegoat,' she thought.
