"WHAT DID YOU SAY!!!?
Aelia exclaimed in shocked as she looked at her beautiful and attractive mother who was elegantly sitting on the couch in her room, rather strangely, as she was apparently appalled by the sudden information.
"Your manners, young lady." Delilah remarked, apparently angered by Aelia sudden outburst.
"My apologies, mother." Aelia instantly adjust her postures and sat upright, back to the innocent and elegance young lady her mother knew, while clenching her fist tightly.
"The heir of Duke Ernaldus will be visiting the town tomorrow and I invited him to stay in our humble residence. Therefore, I shall hope you'll be in your flawless appearance." Aelia heard her mother uttered the last part with contempt.
"Yes, mother." Aelia response softly, although inside her mind she scoffed at her naive self for obeying her mother's words without any objections.
Delilah stared at her meekly daughter strangely and then turn around to walked away without saying anything.
The instance her mother disappeared from her range of view, Aelia instantly released her clenched fist and start pacing around the room in distressed.
Her dreams.
Her nightmares.
They're all real.
These are certainly not coincidence, she would never dream about a person she had never met.
That means everything that occurred in her dreams will began to take place from this moment on.
''What am I going to do? " Aelia whispered to herself anxiously.
This scene apparently happened in her dreams. Tomorrow she will eventually encounter the person who made her life horrible.
Aelia shook her head in denial and started bitting her fingernails, an unknown habits she developed when she is nervous and insecure.
No!!!
No!!!
She had to do something to stop her dreams from becoming real.
Aelia plopped down on her bed, while she bit ner nails in anxiousness.
The first thing she is require to do is to avoid meeting him regardless of any cost.
But, avoiding him mean she had to request her mother's permission, which seem absurd since she's the one who made the arrangements.
"Marrying him will benefits us, Aelia."
"You shall be a Duchess."
"But, mother, we're friends and I'm certainly not in love-"
"Enough Aelia!!!! I shall never hear this kind of foolish words from you ever again. You shall marry him and that is the end of our discussion."
Her mother's words echoed in her mind, as she recalled their last encounter in her dreams.
Her mother, Countess of Pierres, Delilah Lazares, a widowed notably known for her kind, amiable and gentle appearance towards others people in the town of Lirac, in contrast to the overbearing and abrasive mother to her, urged her to marry the Duke of Ernaldus heir, after he asked for her hand in marriage.
The Countess, knowing theirs reputation, fame and influence in the capital without a second thought instantly agreed to his proposal to betrothed her daughter to him.
No!!!!
No!!!!
Aelia shook her head, as she remember the consequences of this engagement and abruptly stood up from her bed and strode out of her room in a haste, but the moment she reach her door, she halted and immediately turn around and walk towards her wardrobe and took out a deep and dark red cloak and swiftly walked out of her room.
She shall stop her dreams from becoming reality.
