"Fine, fine I will do as you say, young miss. You don't have to worry about me, have a good time with your husband and his family." Zaxton remarked and quickly ended the phone call knowing he had said too much.
Abigail narrowed her eyes at Zaxton's words, was he watching her? Or spying on her activities? Abigail glanced around before turning to climb the stairs, she could not care if he was watching her he had not made sure she did not catch him in the act else he would be toast.
As Abigail climbed up the stairs, her gaze met Elias who was standing at the top of the stairs with a frightening expression. "Hey! You are awake,!" Abigail said and quickly rushed up the stairs but he was faster than she was.
Elias moved down faster than Abigail and pulled her into a tight hug without saying any words, "Are you okay? Calm down! Take in a deep breath." Abigail said when she noticed the frightening expression on his face, she patted his back softly to console him.
