"I am doing fine child, more than Elias. That child has suffered enough already, he witnessed the death of his mother at a young age. He was taken away from the family at a young age too, I hope he finds happiness and nothing ruins it for him." Old man Josh said a little smile appearing on his lips.
"Grandpa, did you not ever feel bad for not getting your grandson arrested or sent to a mental institute after getting his mother killed? I mean you all must have known it and should have known too that a person doesn't change so easily and it won't be easy for him to change too." Abigail inquired having a puzzled look on her face.
"We thought of doing that my dear granddaughter but you see, Elias loves his family too much. Elias always wanted to fulfill the promise he made to his mother and that was to keep his brother safe, Elias refused Elijah killing their mother and instead lied to the police that she fell from not being able to hold on to the cliff anymore."
