Leo's eyes widened at the scene. He cautiously approached the duo and greeted them awkwardly,"H-Hello...." His address startled them and earned their attention,"Who are you? What are you doing here!?",The dark haired girl asked irefully. "My name is Leo, I'm from Howling. I'm my captain, Kazumi's escort, He and your captain are currently having a discussion." Hearing this, she inquired no further and raced inside.
Leo was disoriented by the whole encounter that he forgot the other lady was standing by. She nudged him and asked,"Are you there, Leo?" "Uh..Yes! Hello..." Leo took notice of her figure. He was lean and tall, her hair, reaching to her waist, was a bright pumpkin shade, and was tied into two large pigtails, her eyes, however were a dark obsidian. She wore a large pair of green shaded goggles over her head, a grey and orange stripped sweater, and a rugged, black flare skirt. There was a leather utility belt around her waist, housing tools of various sorts."I know many in Howling...., but I don't recall meeting you." "Well you see...." She suddenly gasped upon realization. "You....took down an Emperor?" "Well....Not me. It was....my captain." "I'd like to meet someone like him. My name's Rae." "That's great....I must ask, I hope you don't mind..." "What is it?" "What's the name of your god ability?" "It's Archangel Uriel. What's wrong?" "You might think I'm crazy...." "I'm pretty crazy myself. Let me hear you." "The Emperor of the first Lab....His god ability looked so much like yours. It was also given the name Archangel. I don't know how that's possible but I-"He interrupted by a joyful squeal from Rae. She began to prance about in celebration, saying,"I was right! I was right!!" "What are you talking about?" "Follow me, Leo! I've got something to show you!"
She led him out of the castle to a secluded grove of willow trees, their verdant thread like leaves concealing a strange wonder. Rae dragged Leo through the leaves, and before long, they stood before a labyrinthine structure. As they stepped in, the low buzzing sound welcomed them in, along with an ominous orange glow. It radiated further, reeling them in. Leo had had a myriad of questions, but was too perplexed to ask. He only followed her silently, eyes widened. They stood before a thick iron door with a display panel. Rae typed in a few digits and it clicked open. "Watch your head, Leo!", She giggled as they stepped in. In the depths of this cavern was a laboratory. It was a small, compact room embraced by uniformly arranged stone. Vines slithered through the rough-hewn walls, contrasting the technology within. In the center was a large table, gleaming with a sterile sheen against an dim backdrop. Above that were various screens and interfaces that brimmed with light. The ground under their feet was tiled with a shimmering steel. "This....this is incredible!" "Don't be impressed yet,Leo. There is so much I want to show you, but I want to know I can trust you. I know we just met, but if what you say is correct, I will need to know everything you know. Can I trust you, Leo?" Leo stared into her eyes as she awaited his answer.
