Chapter 43 - An Angel's Secret Pt.2

Leo was still trying to process everything he'd just experienced. "Well, Leo.....What's your answer?",Rae inquired again, seemingly more eager. "I....I promise." Hearing those words escape from his mouth, she beamed up and led him towards the interfaces. "I'm really excited to finally share this with someone." "I'm sorry, can you hold on? All of this is amazing! H-How long did it take you to build all of this? "I'm not sure? About 11 years, maybe? That's not our notion today! Now tell me all about him, this Emperor your captain defeated!" "Umm- yeah,...Right. His name was Matteo, Blonde, probably six feet tall, know him?" "Not a clue, but go on." "His god ability was called Archangel. He would manifest large, angelic wings like yours. He was fast, and could harden the feathers to use as blades. I believe he could also slow down time in a specific region." "He must have been really strong....Okay then!" She turned and started typing away as Leo stood by.

"Care to explain?" "It's started out as a theory I had, but I guess what you just said confirmed it." "What do you mean?" "Every single god particle was once a single unit." A holographic image flickered to life, casting hues of blue and green across the room. It was a floating particle, large in size. It's shape was dynamic and ever-shifting, a swirling mass of energy with tendrils of light pulsating from its core, creating a sort of cosmic web. "That's...Beautiful.", Leo couldn't help but marvel at the image. "It truly is a sight to behold, Leo, but take my words into consideration." "So you are saying, every god particle was formed out of this?" "That's right. I call it the Alpha particle, an extremely potent and radical source of cosmic energy. I believe that god particle are tiny, molecular pieces of this particle, and I am on a quest to find the whole truth." "But something doesn't add up.",Leo insisted. "It doesn't really explain how you and Matteo have related abilities. Everyone else doesn't." "I know. This is not all to my theory....." She typed a prompt into the interface, causing the Alpha particle to be parted into two equally.

The first half separated into 12 other particles, whiles the other became so minute Leo could barely see them.

"What does this mean?", He asked out of curiosity. "Don't you see it?" "I do....But don't quite understand....." "My theory is that the Alpha particle underwent a division, first into two, and then each halve was broken down more, obviously one more that the other. The smaller particles are what I'd suggest to be god particles." "And the bigger ones with the other half?" "They are another particle I call the Omega particle. Less powerful than the Alpha particle and yet alot more potent that the god particle. " "I see...But how are you so sure about all of this?" "That's because....I can see what a god particle looks like for myself..." Leo froze in his place. "That can't be true--" "It is, Leo. My god Particle is called "Archangel Uriel", and one of it's powers is the ability to manipulate molecular particles and energies. It takes a while since It's only at B class right now." "That's....unbelievable....Show it to me then! Your god particle!" "Very well. But I have to tell you something. A god ability cannot exist outside the body for more that a minute, or else it would be completely lost, because of this I have to do something unconventional...."

Rae rushed to the side and brought out a knife and a transparent, hexagonal glass container. She made a cut in her hand and let the blood ooze into the container. Leo stared at her strangely but didn't inquire. When it was half full, she stopped and bandaged her hand." Are you ready Leo?", she asked, and he nodded eagerly. She placed her hand onto her chest as a bright vermillion aura surrounded her body. She stood still for a minute, until the aura died down. She lowered her palm from her chest, and in it, was a bright particle burning in the previous vermillion. She lowered it into the container with the blood carefully and enclosed it. As it settled, the blood swirled and slashed all around violently, orbiting around the bright, burning particle in an uncanny fashion. Leo fell back, amazed to the point of fear. He was trembling when Rae uttered the words,"I told you so."
