The sun was in the middle of the sky. Augustya was picking up heavy wood logs. His stamina was very low compared to that of a B-rank fighter. He only lasted for 30–40 minutes in beast form. It was important for a fighter to have an abundant amount of stamina. More often, he fainted due to being transformed into a beast.
→You have to carry 3 more logs. ← Meg informed him.
For increasing stamina, Sparrow told him to carry 50–60 kg of logs from 4 kilometres to here. After every log, his body started worn out. His clothes were drenched with sweat; thankfully, his t-shirt had a cool feature that dried itself. However, it couldn't replace the bad odour in the body.
Augustya threw the log onto the ground in frustration and sat down.
"You really should wear perfume. Your body stinks like a dead fish." Sparrow said calmly, as he had numerous sensors, which included a thermal sensor, an olfactory sensor, a motor sensor, and 35 more sensors.
Augustya smelled his arm, and his face changed into disgust. Moreover, he loathed the fact that an android had been mentioned.
Ignoring his mocking, he complained," I can't do this. This exhausts my body and gives stress to my muscles, shoulders, and stomach."
"It's just a second day of training. You will get used to this soon." Sparrow said in a gentle voice. "For the scent of your body you can use rosette perfume."
"No! No! This is the above of my capabilities." He was really not happy with the current schedule and it could be seen in his face.
"Fine! Speaking of which, you are not allowed to sleep in a spaceship now. The logs you carry will provide as home and make you warm. " Sparrow tried his best effort said in a sarcastic tone.
Although, Kepler body could endure extreme temperatures, having basic necessities was good for the long run.
"I wish your process overheated." Augustya cursed under his breath.
"Humph! " Augustya stomped his leg continuously, then started carrying the logs again. He had never thought that in this life he would do such a tedious job. However, the universe always found a way to torture and torment his body in different ways.
Augustya was wandering around the forest, amazed by the biodiversity and fresh air. With the help of Meg, it would be easy for him to identify toxic or nontoxic plants. In the spaceship, there were no edible products to eat, so he had to hunt food for himself.
"Meg, is this edible?" Augustya asked as he glanced at the mushroom.
→Checking in the plant encyclopaedia, the red one is poisonous, and all the white ones are edible.←
Augustya nodded, grabbed a full handful of mushrooms, and put them into his bag.
He noticed there were many round shaped fruits on the trees. But they were too high, although Augustya didn't know how to climb. As he was about to climb, he heard an animal snarl and giggle. This made him a little anxious, so he dug his nails in to calm himself for the upcoming challenge.
"So close." Augustya identified it as a wild boar. The distance between him and that wild boar was 100 metres. The boar glared at him, a running forward Augustya. His height would be 139cm, and complexion was red.
The boy thanked the universe for giving him such a good opportunity. He licked his upper lips and imagined he would eat roast boar today.
The boar squeaked and charged towards Augustya with aggression. Augustya swiftly hid beside the tree and waited for the right moment to capture it.
If Augustya went against him and tried to stop a boar whose strength might be twice that of him, it would be a problem for Augustya, or he would get badly hurt.
So, saving his energy and getting a job done precisely, he decided to hide beside the tree. There were other factors, such as what if the boar decided to take the opposite direction or be in a group?
Augustya held tightly to the dagger and waited for the right moment to strike.
" 60..50..40..30..10 metres."
As he crossed his path, rapidly threw daggers at his body.
Two missed the dagger; 3 daggers hit it on his legs, back, and head.
Afterwards, Augustya jumped towards the boar and slashed his head quickly. Before the boar said his last words, he had already lost his breath.
The scent of blood was bursting into his nostrils, which made him a little dizzy. He averted his gaze and took a deep breath.
His blood pressure had started getting higher, and he squatted down on his knees.
"Augustya. You can't be defeated by a boar. Think about the juicy and tender meat that you will eat later."
"Imagine the roast meat waiting for you. Don't eat raw. "
A few minutes later, reciting mantras continously in his head, he finally controlled the urge to rampage.
In that process, he smashed a few faunal. The agitation and agony ceased, as his drive for hunger was bigger than that.
He decided to take his prize possession with him.
When Augustya reached, the sun had already set. He saw Sparrow had already built a wooden tent for him. It was 25 centimetres higher than the ground and in the shape of a square pyramid. It looked fancy.
He had been working on a chair for him, which made his lips curl a little.
"You did it?" Augustya asked in curiosity as his eyes were glued to the geometry of the tent.
"Yes, with the help of power tools. They are really handy." Sparrow stopped working on the chair.
"Can I enter the tent?"
"Before that, I want to describe the tent. This tent is made of combined wood, red wood, and oak trees. It has a small window, so you don't feel claustrophobic."
"I made sure there was no leakage in your tent. Besides, it has no heat or cold insulation for your comfort. Either way, no fancy king-size space." Sparrow said in a dejected voice." He wanted to build it more fancy, but it would break the protocol and make Augustya suffer and torment.
"Damn! You are awesome." Augustya rejoiced. It didn't matter if he had luxuries or not. Moreover, he liked that someone built something for him.
The boy said in a low voice, "Thank you!"
He entered the tent, and it felt nice to have some light and a window looking upward to see beautiful stars in the sky.
" You should be a carpenter. "
"No! I am happy with my current life and serving my least favourite master.
All of my life I have been serving as a butler, but I do know carpeting, cooking and washing dishes etcetera. "
Augustya opened his mouth in awe and clapped. Sparrow's olfactory senses tickled as he glanced at the dead boar.
"You slaughtered that?" Sparrow questioned him.
"Yes. I am going to have roast boar with mushrooms." Augustya replied in delighted voice.
"Uhh-ohhh!" Sparrow had tensed expression as saw muddle of blood spilling entire the forest. "How did you overcome the homophobia?"
"I just imagined roasting meat rather than eating it raw. It was really hard, but somehow I did it."
Augustya forgot to mention killing a few boars in that process or doing some destruction. Perhaps the sparrow didn't need to be aware of this.
"I am impressed with your self-control. With this achievement, let me cook for your honour."
Little did they know that the scent of roasting meat had already reached the big predator nose and they were drooling over to eat flesh.
