Chapter 3 - First Training

First Training

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dinner was looking sumptuous and plentiful.

Cheese grilled chicken drumsticks, grilled steak, grilled chicken wings, and pieces of Elena's secret fish and chips. Looking at the food on the table, Lucky understands why Billy and his wife are so plump. Compared with these two parents, Kevin was a thin and weak boy.

Billy opened a bottle of whisky, poured himself a glass, tapped the plate with a fork, and said, "Today is the welcome party for the new member of the Arsenal family, Le Kai, a child from far away, we wish you a happy life in the UK"

Le Kai picked up the glass of water and said, "Thank you."

Elena also said with a smile, "I hope you have an excellent performance in the arena."

"Thanks."

Kevin timidly picked up the drink and said, "I hope you have a good time."

Le Kai bowed his head and smiled, "Thank you, Kevin."

"Hahaha, well, welcome Little Lucky to the happy Billy family, let's start the prayer before dinner."

After saying that, Billy folded his hands and made a prayer.

The same was true for Elena and Kevin, and Lucky could only follow suit.

Only to hear Billy growl," Son of a bi…h!"

The three of them said in unison: "Fabregas!"

Le Kai was stunned, what kind of prayer was this?

But the three of them were already staring at him, Le Kai could only laugh dryly and say, "Bi…h. Fabregas, son of a bi…h!"

Immediately, the three of them showed happy smiles and began to feast.

Elena brought more food to Lucky from time to time, but he really couldn't eat these heavy oil products, he has strict requirements for his own food. But since it was a welcome party, he could only do as the locals did.

After eating, Lucky took a bath and lay in bed early.

The storm could be seen outside the window. Le Kai stared at the roof, his fallen into contemplation about his future. After a long while, he sighed and said, "The boat will naturally straighten when it reaches the bridge. Let's forget it and rest.'' Lucky turned over and fell asleep.

The next day, Lucky got up early and changed into his gym clothes for a morning run. The storm has passed and the weather is exceptionally sunny. The air after the rain is very fresh.

Standing at the door, Le Kai stretched his body and started to stretch. When he bent back, he saw that in the attic on the second floor, Kevin was sitting by the window peeking at himself. Lucky smiled and waved his hand, the little guy turned and ran away like a frightened rabbit, disappearing.

Le Kai grinned helplessly and began to run along the town road. There was a lake not far from the town, and there is a quiet mountain path along the lake. Running along the path for about half an hour, he reached the mountainside. There was a spring with water constantly gushing out.

Le Kai lowered his head and took a sip, it was refreshing and sweet. He lowered his head and washed his face again. All the uncertainties clouding his mind somewhat cleared out.

Le Kai took a long breath, filling his lungs with fresh air.

World-class midfielder?

Lucky licked his lips and couldn't help but smile in anticipation.

When he returned to Billy's house, it was already 8 am, but the family still didn't get up. Walking into the kitchen, Lucky personally cooked and prepared a low-fat and healthy meal. After eating his own portion, he left a note for Billy. Then he put on his sports bag and prepared to go to the training base.

Last night Billy said he was going to send himself, but yesterday Billy drank too much and probably couldn't get out of bed.

Fortunately, the training base is not far away, and Lucky can jug over there completely, which is regarded as a warm-up. His physical fitness is extremely abundant, which is the result of his childhood training. Among all talents, Lucky is the most confident in physical fitness.

The Arsenal Training Center could be seen with the Arsenal team logo from a distance.

Walking into the training base and finding the locker room, Lucky changed his clothes before appearing on the training ground.

The league will not start until August, so the training base was empty, and Lucky could train with peace of mind.

To be honest, whether Le kai's current prowess can compete in the Premier League was debatable. He didn't have a convenient system to rate his overall competence.

After thinking about it for a long time, Lucky scratched his head and finally took out a few rods from the equipment store.

He's getting ready to work around the pole. Rod training is the basis of football, which mainly combines the characteristics of the ball, balance, and fast movement. To be honest, Lucky did not do well, so he decided to start with this. The poles were having a distance of about two meters between each of them. There were ten poles, and he has to pass between them quickly. Holding the timer in the palm of his hand, he quickly tumbled the ball while pressing the timer button.

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

.

.

.

"Nine!"

"Ten!"

Stepping on the ball and stopping, Lucky turned his head and saw the poles swaying erratically.

Lucky grinned slightly. Looked down at the time, 9 seconds 12. He looks up to the sky, is it okay?

No, he could do better.

Keep practicing!

Under the sun, a teenager was constantly training around the pole in the green field.

Sweat wet his hair, slipped down his chin and his entire shirt is soaked.

Le Kai took off his jersey and twisted it, sweat dripping down. Feeling wet when he put it on again, Le Kai frowned, threw his jersey aside, and continued practice with a new training jersey.

The time passed a little bit, and before he knew it, morning had passed.

Lucky slumped on the ground, gasping for breath. However, as soon as he sat down, he saw an old man standing outside the fence. The old man raised his eyebrows on a face that seemed to have a permanent scowl.

Wasn't this the Arsenal assistant coach Patrice from yesterday?

The other party stared at him closely, and Le Kai didn't know what the other party was thinking. As soon as he raised his arm to say hello, the old man snorted heavily, turned his head, and left.

Le Kai put his arm down in embarrassment and muttered, "Odd old man.''

After that, he resumed his practice.

When it was time for lunch, his stomach began to growl unsatisfactorily. Le Kai touched his stomach, he remembered that Arsenal had a cafeteria.

He didn't know if they were open during the off-season.

Putting on his clothes again, Lucky started looking for the cafeteria along the road sign.

On the third floor of the office building, I found the canteen. However, most of them are employees, and Le Kai, who was wearing Arsenal's training uniform, was a little out of place.

But he was too hungry, so he still joined the queue, facing the strange gazes of the employees, ready to receive his own food.

The restaurant was in the form of self-service, and there were all kinds of dishes.

Lucky picked out some low-fat food, stuffed a large plate, and then walked to the corner to start eating. He was eating happily when a familiar voice suddenly came.

"Why are you here?"

Lucky looked up and found that it was Martin Hughes.

Martin Hughes smiled at Le Kai's soaked jersey and said, "Training?"

Lucky nodded, chewed and swallowed quickly, and said, "Come and eat."

Martin Hughes smiled and said, "This is the staff restaurant, the players' canteen is not here."

Lucky was suddenly embarrassed.

That is why the gazes of the employees were so strange.

"I had no idea."

"It's okay." Martin Hughes said: "At this point, the player canteen is not open, so you can eat here."

After he finished speaking, he sat in front of Lucky and said, "How was your practice?"

Le Kai smiled bitterly; "Still working on the basics."

Martin Hughes nodded and said; "Training will be more effective under the guidance of a coach, I suggest you go to Patrice!"

Remembering the old man who stared at him in the morning, Le Kai said, "Isn't there a coach specializing in training? The assistant should be very busy, right?"

Martin Hughes played with his words and said, "Patrice's main focus is training, the Professor doesn't care about this, he is only responsible for the arrangement of the system and tactics, and all training belongs to Patrice. It can be said that in terms of training, his advice is more authoritative than a professor."

Le Kai opened his mouth and said, "Really."

During their conversation, Le Kai got to know that Martin Hughes was an employee of the team manager's subordinate department, mainly serving the players.

"The club has issued a summoning order, the players will return one after another, and you will be able to join the group training." After a pause, Martin Hughes sighed; "This season, we will have to play very hard."

Cesc Fabregas, their core, was gone. Arsenal faced a leaderless situation in midfield. Samir Nasri, who performed well, also left Arsenal to join Manchester City. Not to mention Song. Although this guy was hyped, in terms of performance alone, was not worth the value of a 'special genius clause'. Arsenal had high hopes for Mikel Arteta, but in the end, showed that he could not take on the big task.

"Wasn't there Van Persie?" Le Kai whispered.

Any Arsenal fan of the 11/12 season, will remember Van Persie. He was a goal-scoring machine.

It was precisely because of Robin van Persie's crazy performance that season that Arsenal still maintained the status of one of the four kings in the English Premier League. However, after this season, the departure of Van Persie and Song was the biggest blow to Arsenal.

It was at this point that the Gunners lost their brilliance.
