Chapter 6 - SPACETIME FIELD 6

Qing Eena had been working tirelessly since he arrived at his parents' house on Friday, restoring items using his Spacetime Energy. Despite the limitless nature of Spacetime Energy, he soon realized that his five-year-old body was not strong enough to handle the constant strain. He knew that he needed to improve his physical vessel if he wanted to continue using his powers without causing permanent damage.

Drawing on knowledge from his future self, Qing Eena decided to turn his room into a Spacetime Field. By doing so, two days inside the field would be equivalent to two years in the real world. This would allow him to train and improve his body without wasting too much time.

The process of creating the Spacetime Field was complex, but Qing Eena was up to the task. He began by visualizing the room in his mind, picturing every detail down to the last speck of dust. Then, he focused his Spacetime Energy on the room, creating a boundary that transported the entire space to another dimension.

As the room disappeared from view, Qing Eena felt a rush of power coursing through his body. He knew that the field was working, and that he had two years to train and prepare for whatever challenges lay ahead.

But first, he needed to ensure that his parents wouldn't disturb him during his training. So he told them that he was practicing some "magic meditation techniques" and asked them not to disturb him for the next two days.

His parents were a bit confused but ultimately agreed to leave him alone. As they closed the door behind them, Qing Eena couldn't help but smirk to himself. He had fooled them with his excuse, and now he was free to train without interruption.

For the next two years (or two days in reality), Qing Eena worked tirelessly to improve his physical body. He performed routine exercises and practiced using his Spacetime Energy to restore various objects within the field.

Occasionally, he would take breaks to meditate and reflect on his progress. As he sat cross-legged on the floor, he couldn't help but think back to his time at Hunter School. He remembered the challenges he faced and the people who doubted him, but he also remembered the satisfaction he felt when he succeeded.

With each passing day, Qing Eena's body grew stronger, and his Spacetime Powers became more refined. By the time the two years were up, he was a completely different person. His once-fragile body was now strong and agile, and his Spacetime Energy was more powerful than ever before.

As Qing rested inside the Spacetime Field, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what was to come. He had discovered that the "Mana Seeds" he had used as an excuse to his parents were actually a modified breed of mana seeds that came from a rare and elusive Mana Tree.

Qing knew that the Mana Tree was the only plant that was able to produce large amounts of mana naturally, and that it was extremely difficult to nurture and grow into a full-grown adult. But he also knew that this seed was a replicate and was modified to just sprout, NOT to turn into a tree. And with his Spacetime Power, Qing realized that he had the ability to revert the "Mana Seed" back to its unmodified form.

Excited by this discovery, Qing set to work, focusing all of his energy and concentration on the seed. Slowly but surely, he felt the seed begin to change, transforming back into its original, unmodified form. It was a difficult and time-consuming process, but Qing was determined to succeed.

As he worked, Qing found himself lost in thought, his mind wandering to his parents and their health. He knew that the Mana Tree was said to have restorative properties, and that its seeds could be used to revitalize the body and lengthen the lifespan of those who consumed them. And so, he decided that once he had successfully reverted the seed, he would plant some in his parents' backyard, so they could reap the benefits.

But as he worked, Qing also began to think about the consequences of his actions. If his parents were to consume the Mana Seeds, they would undoubtedly live longer, healthier lives. But what would happen to the rest of the world? Would the demand for the Mana Seeds skyrocket, leading to over-harvesting and depletion of the Mana Tree? And what about those who couldn't afford to buy the seeds? Would they be left behind, their lifespans cut short?

Lost in thought, Qing continued to work on the seed, his mind racing with questions and concerns. But deep down, he knew that he had to do what he felt was right, even if it meant facing difficult and complicated consequences. For he had always been taught that with great power comes great responsibility, and he was determined to use his power for good, no matter the cost.

As Qing Eena emerged from his Spacetime Field, he couldn't help but marvel at the changes that had taken place in his body. He felt stronger, faster, and more agile than ever before. And when he looked at himself in the mirror, he was shocked to see that he had grown to the height of a typical 10-year-old.

Qing's parents were equally amazed at their son's transformation. They bombarded him with questions, asking how he managed to grow so much in just two days, and what he had been doing in his room the whole time. Qing knew he had to come up with a plausible explanation, so he told them that he had been doing some intense physical training, using some techniques he had learned from a book he found in the library.

His parents were still skeptical, but they couldn't deny the changes in their son's physique. They asked him to show them some of the techniques he had learned, and Qing obliged. He demonstrated a few simple martial arts moves, which he had picked up during his training in the Spacetime Field.

His parents were impressed, but they still had their doubts. They knew their son was intelligent, but they had never seen him so motivated and determined before. They wondered if there was something else behind his sudden change in behavior.

Qing could sense their suspicion, and he knew he had to tread carefully. He didn't want to reveal the truth about his Spacetime Field or his Mana Seeds, as he wanted to keep those powers to himself. So he continued to make up excuses, telling his parents that he was simply trying to become a stronger and better version of himself.

Over the next few days, Qing continued to hone his skills and improve his body. He practiced his martial arts moves in the backyard, using trees and rocks as targets. He also spent hours meditating and visualizing the flow of mana through his body, using the mana seeds to enhance his powers.

As he continued his training, Qing couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction and power. He knew that he was becoming something greater than his mortal self, and he relished the feeling of control and strength that came with it.

But he also knew that he had to be careful. He didn't want to reveal his powers to anyone else, especially not his parents or his classmates. He knew that if they found out about his abilities, they would try to take them away or use them for their own gain.

So he kept his powers a secret, continuing to practice and hone his skills in the shadows. And as he did, he knew that he was becoming something greater than his mortal self, something that would one day change the course of his life and the lives of those around him.

---

As the clock struck midnight, Qing Eena stealthily crept out of his bedroom and made his way to the backyard. He had been planning this moment for months, carefully selecting the perfect spot to plant the Mana Tree that he had so painstakingly nurtured in his Spacetime Field.

He approached the isolated space he had created earlier, and with a wave of his hand, the "Cloaking Barrier" was lifted, revealing the small, but vibrant Mana Tree that he had grown. He took a moment to admire its beauty, the tree was thriving and already producing a significant amount of mana.

With a smile on his face, Qing Eena began to plant the tree in the ground. He carefully tended to it, using his Spacetime Powers to control the environment and make sure it had the perfect conditions for growth.

As he finished planting the tree, he cast the "Cloaking Barrier" again, concealing it from any prying eyes or curious animals that might stumble upon it. He knew that the Mana Tree was a valuable asset and needed to be kept hidden.

But as he turned to leave the yard, he heard a noise behind him. He spun around to see his father standing there, looking bewildered and confused.

"Qing, what are you doing out here in the middle of the night?" his father asked, eyeing him suspiciously.

Qing's mind raced, he knew he had to come up with an excuse quickly, "Oh, I was just practicing some meditation techniques outside. The fresh air helps clear my mind," he replied smoothly.

His father still seemed unconvinced, "Well, it's late, you should come inside and get some rest," he said, before turning to head back to the house.

As his father walked away, Qing breathed a sigh of relief. He knew he couldn't afford to let anyone find out about the Mana Tree, especially not his parents who might unknowingly reveal it to their neighbors or absentmindedly gossip it without knowing the consequences.

With one last glance at the tree, Qing turned and headed back to his room, already thinking about how he would use the mana it produced to further his own goals.

---

Qing Eena found himself in a dream, or rather, a vision. He was floating in a vast and empty space, surrounded by nothingness. Suddenly, a figure appeared before him, a woman with long, flowing hair and a gentle smile on her face. Qing recognized her as the god of Dreams, the last one he had spoken to before they were all purged.

"Qing Eena," she spoke, her voice echoing around them. "I am glad to see you again. I have come to give you a message."

Qing felt a jolt of surprise at her words. "A message? From who?"

"From the gods who have returned to the Dream Dimension," she replied. "As you may have noticed, the dimensions are being re-balanced, and the essences of the dead gods are being repurposed for the use of mortals. Some have returned willingly, while others have been turned into skill rewards or blessings for those who enter the dungeons or The Spire's."

Qing listened intently, intrigued by what he was hearing. "And what about you?" he asked. "What happened to your essence?"

The god of Dreams smiled. "I returned to the embrace of the Dream Dimension, as it was my final act before the purge. My essence has been repurposed into a variety of things, such as granting powerful dreams to those who seek them or aiding in the growth of their minds and imagination."

Qing nodded slowly, taking in the information. "I see. And what of the gods who returned willingly? What did they become?"

"Some returned as energy, like the god of Spacetime, while others became characters or had roles in the dungeons and spires. It all depends on what they were gods of and what their essence could be used for."

Qing thought about this for a moment, feeling a sense of awe and wonder at the scale of what was happening. "It's incredible," he murmured. "The power of the dead gods being used to help mortals grow and become stronger."

The god of Dreams smiled again, her eyes shining with a gentle light. "Yes, it is. And now, I must leave you, Qing Eena. Remember what I have told you, and use it to your advantage."

And with that, the vision faded away, leaving Qing alone once more in the empty space. He opened his eyes and found himself back in his own bed and in his own room, feeling a renewed sense of purpose and determination. He knew now that he had a role to play in this new world, and he was ready to take it on.
