She sighed again while examining the deserted place that once retained her mother's house.
Sadly, she couldn't stay here forever. She had a life to live and she also had a mission; to bring their realm back to life.
Agnes felt water prickling her eyes and slowly it slipped down her cheeks.
She smiled and wiped it off, I am doing the right thing, she thought. Her mother would be proud of her for taking this huge step.
'Oh, why am I getting so emotional?' she queried herself. If she wanted to go on this journey, she must be strong enough and decisive. She couldn't turn back now.
Spinning on her heels, she faced the children who blinked back at her.
She consoled herself, trying to make herself realize that they must be excited to leave this place after spending a hundred of their lives there.
"Excited, are we? Let's get going kids" She grinned.
