The carriage halted. Sounds of horses neighing enveloped the air.
With every breath that she took, she could feel apprehension advancing within her. Her blood pumped in her body and her heart beat faster in her chest.
Her forehead was glistening with sweat, likewise her palms were turning sweaty as they both held the chair which she was seated on.
Her forest green eyes met with his gray ones and she gazed at him in anticipation. "Wh-at are we...." she trailed off in despair but immediately quietened down when he placed his hands on his lips, signaling for her to keep quiet.
Blair did so, she breathed in heavily. She was even scared to veer around for fear that they might burst in, unwelcome. She took a quick glance at him again to see him narrow his eyes through the window.
He then came closer to her, she saw him remove the arrow which was stuck to the window beside her head. Swiftly and it wasn't noisy.
