Coraline's eyes wandered away from the man's gaze and met Blair's eyes, and a slight smile appeared on her lips. "I apologize for intruding on your moment," She said, her voice coming out low.
Zephyr observed that the woman was no longer as bad as before and was now humbled. Perhaps life had taught her to be a good person.
Now, he didn't regret his decision to let her live.
He felt Blair nudging his arm as if telling him to say something, "It's nothing. What do you want?" He inquired tersely.
Blair face-palmed herself, was it just her, or did that come out icy as well?
That was just his way of speaking, she concluded inwardly, he wasn't nice to everyone like he was to her.
