Chapter 22 - CHAPTER TWENTY TWO: Keep Dreaming.

After the teacher on duty stepped foot into the hall, all the noise suddenly subsided. Eleanor Freya came back to her senses upon hearing the teacher on duty's voice. She quickly stood up together with Sunny and walked to queue in line.

The students arranged themselves in long queues in the order of their classes. They all waited silently for the school principal to arrive. The teacher on duty, Mr. Anthony, scanned the room from time to time looking for who would have been talking, but he found none. No one dared to annoy him at such a time unless a complete idiot.

And after sometime, the principal finally walked into the room.  "Good morning students!" The principal greeted loudly as she adjusted her glasses with her forefinger.

"Good morning Madam Principal!" All the students greeted back in unison.

"Huh! Good thing you stopped me from pulling that ugly duckling's frizzly hair. " Eleanor Freya scowled and rolled her eyes. "I am innocent and not one of the suspects." She concluded proudly praising herself.

"Keep dreaming, Eleanor Freya. We all know that it was your plan. When the right time comes, the truth will have prevailed in the public." Kara told her without knowing that Raelynn Lyla was actually looking at them from a distant place.

Raelynn Lyla was discharged by the hospital nurse upon completing all the necessary tests that she needed to undergo. She had to visit the doctor for further check-ups regarding her medical condition.

She was confused upon seeing herself on the hospital bed, wearing a blue robe with her hair cascading freely through her shoulders. She wanted to scream but chose to remain silent and calm.

"Today, an urgent and disturbing incident had caught the staff's attention including myself. Two days ago, there was a student who was reading a book inside one of the classrooms. She...was...a... alone," the school's principal paused.

She looked down at Raelynn Lyla's eyes in disbelief and guilt. "Until the lights blinked and went off. That made the female student feel frightened and surprised. She was also afraid of darkness and that made her to faint."

All the student's gasped while listening to the principal's speech. They could not believe that such a serious accident had actually happened within the school's borders. The students strated to converse with each other about the heartless person that had done such a cruel thing. They all had different perspectives, speculations and suspects and all those ideas they shared amongst themselves in low but audible tones.

"Silence!" Spoke Mr. Anthony while still standing on the stage.

"I am dishonoured, disappointed and disheartened. As the principal of Derek Academy, it is my responsibility to ensure that all the students within the school's borders are safe and secure from any type of danger that might lurk in the darkest parts of this school. And because of this incident, we have decided to adopt a very popular, common rule inside and outside of the school's borders!"

There was sadness in the principal's watery eyes, pity for the victim of bullying. She had decided to listen to Lily Wyatt's advice on handling the incident.
