Everyone had a look of surprise on their faces.
"Why are you surprised? Is it because I heard everything or you didn't know that I would come?" Finley asked nonchalantly as she takes some sweets from the tray that Freya was holding.
"I am sure it's both, and why are you here?". Freya asked with a straight face.
"Why shouldn't I be?! Wasn't I invited ?" Finley answered.
"No, you weren't!". Freya said as a matter of fact.
"It's okay, let's not ruin the party". Ariel said trying to stop the argument.
"It's already ruined!". Freya replied flatly.
"Ughh!, just let it go!". Ariel exclaimed.
"Sweetie, you wanna know why this is happening right? I heard you asking out of curiosity about what happened between me and them, I will tell you what happened ".
"You better say the truth," Freya said.
"Alright that's it, I am out, you girls can have your chit-chats". Geal said coming out of the swimming pool.
All the girls collectively look at him.
"What?" Geal asked shrugging at them, he takes a towel from one of the loungers and walks away as he dries himself.
Finley rolled her eyes at him.
"Whatever, back to what I was saying". She said.
"So it's like this, me and Rowan were in a relationship and then some jealous person tried to put a wedge between us, and eventually Rowan decided to break up with me and then I left for college and now I am back to clear things up and come back together with Rowan".
"Alright there! For one that's not the complete story, you didn't even tell her everything, and two I don't think you can just "clear things up" and get back together with Rowan after everything that happened, and three....."
"what's going on,?" Daphne asked.
"Ohh, thank God you are here". Freya said as she saw Daphne walking towards them.
"Can we just forget about this and just move on, I am getting tired". Ariel spoke out.
"Don't worry, I know why Freya doesn't want me here! Because just like Daphne she also likes Rowan!"
"What!". Daphne and Ariel said subconsciously together.
'This is getting interesting'. Baara thought to herself.
"Oh, now you want to make it about me now huh!". Freya retorted.
"Well, I don't know about that, but can you deny it? Can you deny what I just said? Of course, you can't, even though you are good at hiding your feelings you can't deceive me". Finley said with a smug face.
Freya rolled her eyes at Finley's claims.
"Alright now, Finely stop making false claims". Ariel said.
"They are not false!".
"Can you girls just forget about all these and focus on the party?". Eve said trying to ease the atmosphere.
Daphne was still shocked at Finley's claims, she would never have guessed that Freya had feelings for anyone not until today and not to talk of Rowan, even though Freya had not confirmed it the fact that she did not deny it says a lot.
'Oh, I see why she has been discouraging me and making me seem like a fool for expressing my feelings to Rowan, she has always been jealous that she couldn't express her feelings earlier, or maybe she's too scared to even express them, what a bitch, she is just like Finley but worse, at the very least Finely is outspoken and speaks loud her inner thoughts but Freya is the total opposite who even rarely shows her emotions'.
Freya stood and started walking out with a flat face.
"Why are you leaving Freya?" Ariel asked.
"I am going to sleep, this night has been ruined for me". Freya said flatly walking out.
Daphne followed Freya with hurried steps.
"Hey, wait!". Daphne called out.
"Woo hoo!" Finley yelled jumping into the swimming pool and causing a big splash.
Baara and Even looked at each other and smiled lightly.
Ariel stared at Finley with a face full of disgust.
"What!" Finley asked Ariel shrugging nonchalantly.
"You are really happy now, right? You didn't even apologize after everything you have done, you accused Freya of trying to "Steal your boyfriend", you are very prideful and narcissistic, and you only care about yourself, you always think you are right, and you don't even apologize when you know for sure that you were wrong, you came uninvited to your ex-boyfriend's party after he clearly stated that he wants no contact with you but instead you stalked him and his friend and here you are causing problems and trying to make Freya look bad, you just like forcing yourself on people because they don't want to associate with you because of your behavior!". Ariel said angrily as she gets out of the water.
"Okay now, first of all, what happened in the past is in the past so don't even bring it up, secondly it's not a lie Freya does have feelings for Rowan maybe she hasn't told you yet, and I am not narcissistic, yeah I may be prideful but I don't force myself on people....."
"Well, maybe you should apologize first to the people you have accused falsely or hurt before you start explaining yourself, you just popped up here and expect everything to go well, talking about forgetting the past!". Ariel interrupted Finley.
"Oh please, I am tired I just want to have fun with you guys for today is that too much to ask?". Finley replied nonchalantly with a 'baby face'.
Ariel rolled her eyes walking back into the penthouse.
"Uhh, we will be joining them inside too". Eve said to Finley.
"You guys are leaving too? Maybe I am the problem?....Oh, well I don't mind" Finley shrugged.
Baara carried the sweets tray while Eve puts on a bathrobe and they both walked out of the rooftop.
Inside the penthouse, there was another commotion going on.
"Really?! You brought drugs to the party after Mum's warning!!" Ariel yelled angrily at her twin brother.
'Ughh, is this really how these 'rich kids' act? Always having problems with each other and why are they doing drugs?!'. Baara thought to herself.
"Look, just act like you saw nothing and why are you guys coming down now?". Waylen said trying to change the topic.
"Don't change the topic, Waylen!". Ariel exclaimed.
