Horror-struck, Pinky badly screamed helplessly as she tried to turn back and jump out of the bathroom but fell down and fainted.
Unlucky enough, no one in the beautiful huge house was able to hear her scream however loud it was. On the bathroom floor Pinky laid unconscious.
Babara Yen unconcernedly opened a candy, threw it in the mouth and went back to relax her head in the bathtub as she watched the ceiling.
After a long while two hours later, time check was half past 4 o'clock. Babara Yen who never slept at all in the night like other vampires stood out of the tub.
She carried her twin sister Pinky who had collapsed and put her into the bathtub. She opened the water which started filling up the tub and applied a shower gel.
While the water continued to fill up in a tub, Babara Yen used a hand to splash some of it on Pinky's face, which made Pinky come back into a conscious state.
Slowly Pinky's eyes began to open with a faint sight, thereafter her vision became clear. The sudden sight of a young lady with whom they appeared identical filled Pinky with panic.
"Calm down sister," Babara Yen said to Pinky, "there's no need to get into a panic!"
Terrified Pinky closed her eyes and began calling onto heavens for protection from whichever evil that was tormenting her at that moment.
She was still in denial about the presence of another person who looked and talked exactly the same like her, thinking it was some supernatural that started to haunt her.
Pinky's reactions began to irritate Babara Yen that she ran out of her cool and yelled, "Would you stop this nonsense!" on top of her voice.
After such a loud and angry yell, Pinky realised the identical lady was actually present and not a spirit or any supernatural as the mind was deceiving her.
"My name is Babara Yen, I bet you've never hard of me before but that's not why I came here. The major reason you must not take for granted is Kevin!" She told her.
"I don't care whether we're twin sisters, stay away from Kevin if you don't want to face any trouble with me because he is my boyfriend," on a very serious note Babara cautioned Pinky.
"And," Babara Yen added as she stood up to go, "let no one know that I was here, not even my boyfriend Kevin should know about this visit."
"Because when it happens, you won't like the other side of me I assure you." "One more thing, your company 'Barbie Candies' makes very nice candies... I like them," Babara Yen put the last nail in the coffin and walked away.
In the pink coloured bathtub where she was left sitting with her body trembled in fear, the water kept pouring over onto the floor.
All the exhaustion she was feeling earlier on was out of the window. She got out of the bathtub like an army commando in the enemy territory, using her knees and arms.
Down on the bathroom floor Pinky crawled through the bathroom curtain. Her eyes were widely open and held a keen hearing while she crawled forward.
She carefully got to the bedroom zone where she managed to stand up on her trembling feet after confirming that the young lady was completely gone.
She went and checked suspiciously into the walk in closet where she saw no one but her clothes down on the closet floor mishandled.
Anxiously Pinky turned around and her eyes were set in the door direction. Quickly she ran towards it and made sure she firmly locks it.
While standing with her back leaned against the door, flashbacks started to run in her head about incidents which kept knocking her that involved the name Babara.
First and foremost Pinky recalled the restaurant incident where a waiter stood confidently infront of her and demanded to tell him what killed his brother on the ship. This waiter addressed her as Babara Yen.
Another incident Pinky remembered was inside TSUNAMI PARA, a makeup and handbag shop at the same time where the owner Tsunami mentioned the name Babara on a handbag she was buying.
"Darn!" she exclaimed in a curse.
At this moment Pinky rushed to her handbag section and picked the beautiful handbag which she thought it was called Babara by name. She looked at it and on the label inside was a very different name.
This is when she understood that these people knew Babara Yen but mistakenly thought she was the one since the two are super identical.
Suddenly Pinky got overwhelmed by thoughts and sat down on the floor.
Next morning after the sun had fully rose, everyone at Pinky's house including grandaunt, grandmother, grandfather and Jonathan where all having a good morning except Pinky who was absent.
Jonathan's parents together with his auntie where having breakfast at the dining table when they lifted their heads to see Jonathan sloping down the stairs.
Before he even reached where they were sitting he shouted, "good morning to my beloved parents and aunt!" fresh and happy in blue shorts and a white t-shirt which had words 'Barbie candies' in pink.
"You're actually wining today's prize for waking up today before Pinky," Jokingly his auntie said, "it a very big miracle."
"He probably never took a glass of whisky before entering sheets!" Jonathan's mother teasingly stated.
"Our grandchild Pinky is now a millionaire and as her manager, I believe he thought about developing a discipline of serious business men!" supplemented his father.
After listening to all their opinions about him, Jonathan said, "I never took a glass of whisky yes, my daughter made her first million dollars, yes! you're all right but, you've missed the fact that I am very hungry... I need to eat."
Before even sitting down Jonathan pulled his mother's from infront of her and stationed it right infront of the chair next where he sat and started enjoying the meal.
"Why do you always have to start with your mother's food didn't she serve you enough when you were still a little boy?!" His father complained.
No child grows up in their parents face... let my boy eat!" his mother stood in defense.
Grandaunt and grandfather had to watch the space when grandmother decided to take her child's side. They shut their mouth and looked at him enjoying his mother's plate of fruit salad and sausages.
Grandmother was feeling sweet with a constant smile on her face, gladly paying attention to her only child Jonathan.
Her aged couldn't allow her to prepare or serve meals. Everything was done for her but to clarify on the matter, she stood up and entered the kitchen.
"She always ask when she needs something! As if she didn't recognize my presence!" Grandaunt murmured a complaint.
Not for long, she walked out with a glass of milkshake in hands and served it to her son Jonathan.
"It seems someone is not yet tired with sucking his mother's breast!" teasingly joked, auntie.
"That's it with mothers... All they do is to raise their children lazy....! that's why a father in a home is very important" Jonathan's father told them.
He pushed the chair on which he was sitting to make space for himself to come out from the dining while he spit words.
Jonathan didn't seem to mind any words from any of them as long as his mother was in his favour, he kept on enjoying his mother's breakfast.
"I need to see my granddaughter before I go for a walk," communicated Jonathan's father who freely walked out of their sight.
It seemed he was used to seeing his wife babysitting Jonathan all the time even when their son grew into a man.
The old man continued upstairs upto his grandchild's bedroom door and knocked. He knocked the second time and the third time respectively with his weak bones.
"Pinky! Pinky....!" on top of knocking, he called with his weak voice.
After failing to see response, the old man walked and sloped half way the stairs where he aimed and asked Jonathan whether Pinky is in her bedroom.
Rest assured, Jonathan didn't hesitate to say yes and continued to enjoy his breakfast meal.
Grandaunt, as the most active member amongst all of them, and Pinky's closest friend in the family had to walk upstairs immediately.
"As exhausted as she was last night, I bet your weak bones and voice can wake her up!" Grandaunt talked to her brother while she passed by him on her way up the stairs.
She got to Pinky's room door and began knocking freely. Her brother came following and stood right behind and waited to see his granddaughter.
"Pinky... Pinky..... Pinky!" she called with a voice loud enough as she knocked at the same time but all was in vain.
After failing to hear any response from Pinky in her room, worries and panics started. Grandaunt lifted her eyes and looked at her elder brother who also looked at her speechless.
She hurried back to the stairs where she stood and loudly called Jonathan in a very anxious voice tone which didn't leave him and his mother on their buttocks.
"What's wrong with my daughter?" Immediately his face turned anxious and stood up to rush up stairs.
Sluggishly his mother came from behind since she was too old to hurry. She also need to see for herself the matter with her granddaughter.
In no minute, Jonathan was already infront of his daughter's bedroom door together with his aunt and father who were right behind him.
He grabbed the door handle, applied energy to open but the door was locked from inside.
Using his strong hard-core male voice he called his daughter's name several times and accompanied it with a loud knock on the door.
There was no response still.
Matters got more serious. Jonathan's mother arrived at the scene and asked whether her grandchild was alright but according to everyone's facial expression it was obvious they had no idea.
"I left both of you together the other night... she was alright!" Jonathan exclaimed anxiously.
"Of course she escorted me to my bedroom and wished me a goodnight. All of you know she sees me last before she goes to sleep!" Grandaunt responded anxiously as well.
"She looked so tired and wanted badly to get in her bed" grandaunt added, "she didn't even enter inside my room like she always does."
All the four were at the moment puzzled, standing right infront of Pinky's door. Jonathan is known as someone who was never sharp in the mind.
"Jonathan! could you please find a way of opening that door instead of waisting time doing that?" His mother instructed with a disappointed face.
He had to stop forcing the door to open by knocking it with the right hand side of his body and apply the brains to save time and energy.
As he was still going through his mind to figure out something, grandaunt was fast enough in thoughts. She was already on her way back from getting a spare key.
"Oh, thank you!" Jonathan got a little bit of relief when he saw the key in his aunty's hand. Quickly she fixed it in and opened the door.
In panic, all the four poured themselves in Pinky's bedroom. All eyes were looking direct at the bed. Pinky was not on the bed.
"Where is my granddaughter?" Jonathan's father asked.
As Jonathan moved closer, his eyes abruptly landed on her where she was sitting on the floor, with both hands placed on bent knees and the head leaning against them.
"My angel!" in too much worry Jonathan exclaimed. Everyone else exclaimed calling her name, "Pinky!!" Immediately they saw her.
Jonathan rushed to get where she was. He squatted down infront of her and gently held on both her shoulders with his face looking so worried.
"What happened to you?! He asked with too much concern while caressing her.
Quickly he put the back of his palm on one side of Pinky's neck to measure her body temperature while he asked whether she caught a fever.
"Did you catch a fever from last night's work?" Jonathan was all panicking, asking as he caressed her beloved daughter.
Pinky lifted her face, her eyes where reddish in colour with marks of dark dry tears mixed with eye-makeup, a sign she was crying lately.
On top of that the face skin was pale like a victim of flu and the hair was shaggy. She looked so miserable in only the underwear and a bra.
Grandaunt bent towards her and asked, "What's the matter Pinky....? Please talk to us! Is everything alright?!" Even though Pinky's misery was obvious.
Worried and concerned, standing shoulder to shoulder, Pinky's grandmother and grandfather were just stuck in confusion over their granddaughter's condition.
Jonathan and his aunt assisted Pinky to stand up on her feet holding gently by the arms on the side each. Slowly they walked her to have a sit on the bed.
The fact that Pinky was not saying anything to them made everyone confused. Jonathan decided to calm his pressure down. He sat on the bed by the side of his daughter.
He took a long breathe, then after he turned his face and looked at her depressed face. Others were quiet and worried, observing him on what he was planning to do about the situation at hand.
"My angel," with a very relaxed voice he spoke, "we all can understand that you're going through some hardship right now."
As he was talking to her, he tried to hold and give her hand a gentle caress but to his disappointment, Pinky too her hand away from him.
It was least expected that all of them where shocked by the way Pinky pulled her hand away to avoid her father, who she loved so much, from touching her.
Jonathan noticed it as well. From his face anyone could tell that he felt somehow embarrassed.
"She was like my ghost..., comfortably relaxing in my bathtub..." Pinky opened her mouth and talked.
"What is she talking about?!" grandaunt curiously asked.
Everyone else became more attentive to know what exactly she was trying to say. Grandaunt walked curiously to the bathroom to check.
Quickly she hurried to close the tap which was left open after finding the bathtub full and water was flowing out it, pouring on the bathroom floor.
"You left water open in there...! you need to explain to me because yesterday your actions where so strange towards me!" Grandaunt express a type of feeling, relating to last night's experience with Pinky.
"What do you mean I acted strange?!" Pinky got eager as to why her grandaunt is accusing her. "You're the one who was acting strange because you were not responding to my conversation like you usually do!"
Jonathan and his parents now looked at the two consumed in a blame game.
"What did you expect me to say after you refusing to open the door for me when I knocked....! And then you came downstairs and found me taking my medicine..., as I was expressing my concern to you, abruptly you asked me to wait and you left!" Grandaunt expressed her pain.
"What are you talking about!" Pinky cried out loud about the accusations she knew nothing about.
"Yes Pinky...! Then within a minute you returned to me and excitedly game me a warm hug like you've not been with me! What was the act all about?" Grandaunt got so bitter in need of an explanation.
"So, you also saw her!" Pinky stated.
"What do you mean I saw her? Stop the drama Pinky! You've kept all of us here in worry..., you don't even care about your grandparents' health! Look at how your father is yearning to make sure you're fine!" Grandaunt wasn't happy at all.
