On hearing Livia's voice , Laura froze on the spot and she didn't know what to do.
And she had barely finished what she was supposed to do in the first place.
' At this rate I won't be able to make it , what should I do? ' She thought.
Livia was about to open the door when
Carlos rushed up the stairs, approached her and said, " Livia, I will be leaving now. "
Livia gazed at him with a shocked expression and asked, "why ? We haven't even spent more time together."
Carlos smiled and said, "Something urgent came up at my restaurant, I came to tell you so you could see me out."
Livia glanced at the door one last time and then at Carlos.
"Okay, let's go," She beamed as she linked her arms with his.
Livia and Carlos headed down the stairs.
Laura sighed deeply and said, "Thank goodness."
She completed her mission , closed the safe and locked the cabinet.
