While the young man was talking to the cashier, Livia tried checking her bag once again but she still couldn't find it .
Laura and the young man stylishly exchanged glances.
' Is this the man Lola talked about? ' she thought.
Laura slid her hand into her pocket to check if the card was still there and thankfully it was still there.
" $125 000," the cashier said monotone.
" Oh I'll pay $140 000 then. Thank you"
Livia was surprised at the amount the cashier quoted but the man paid nonetheless and then they headed out of the store.
The young man walked towards his car while Livia followed behind him.
He sighed and turned to look at her.
"What is the problem ma'am?" He said with a soothing voice.
" No, there's no problem, I just wanted to thank you" Livia stuttered, feeling kinda embarrassed.
