Olivia looked at the man in front of her with wide eyes and shocked as she couldn't believe that he is her brother. She had only met him not too long ago and now he has become a strong, muscular and handsome looking man who could make a girl blush easily. It was quite hard for her to associate the man in front of her to her own brother.
She looked him over as he watched her as he stayed silent. Taking a second for her to come to terms with the new thing she had just learned. And though it took only one second, due to her thought process having been increased due to being blessed, it was a lot more seconds from her perspective before she focused on him again.
She took notice of every detail of his body, his face, his eyes, hair, skin, nose, lips and his body as well. And even though he is pretty buff, she learned that she is indeed in front of her own brother as she looked at him.
"You really are Dyn." Olivia said a she looked at him shocked.
"Who else would call you here Olivia. Of course it's me." Dynamis said to her as he smiled a bit.
'He is smiling.' Olivia thought to herself surprised at his reaction.
"So, you got blessed right?" Olivia asked him after she got her bearings.
"Yeah. It was a total surprise, one moment I was at the park and the next I find myself in a coliseum surrounded by Gods. Thankfully I managed to get their blessings." Dynamis said to her as he looked at his hand.
Though he was actually happy with what had happened, Olivia remembered the conversation she has overheard with the help of her friend Abigail as she frowned slightly. The words her brother had said about his own life was still fresh in her mind as she was getting angry from remembering it. But she suppressed it as she had to deal with her now Blessed brother now.
"Let's take a seat. Be careful though, since you have just been Blessed you might how have complete control over your new physiology so be careful." Olivia said to him as he nodded to her.
Then the two sat on opposite couches as they looked at each other. Dynamis was waiting for his sister to start talking while Olivia was organising her thoughts about what to say first.
'This wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.' Olivia thought to herself as she looked at him.
She took a few seconds to quickly come up with a response before she looked at him seriously.
"Tell me Dyn, since you are now a Blessed, which are the Gods that have Blessed you?" Olivia asked him seriously.
As a Blessed herself she knew how important it is to know the Gods that had Blessed someone. What type of God has Blessed you will determine the powers that one person will have, and she wanted to know what Gods has done so that she can make sure to be able to help her brother learn how to use them without causing problems, if necessary.
"Uh, yeah, about that." Dynamis said a bit nervously as he rubbed his head.
"What's wrong?" Olivia asked him with a raised eyebrow at his behaviour.
While Olivia was confused Dynamis was perfectly aware of his predicament. Being a loner can help one to have increased observation and he has kept up with the news, not that he wouldn't considering that his own sister is a Blessed and he could see her on the screen.
So he already knew that the fact that he himself had been Blessed by 5 Divine beings from different pantheons would not be normal. And he hadn't heard of any Blessed with more than 2 blessings and since he had been Blessed by 5 beings, it would most likely gain a lot of attention.
"Nothing nothing. So, the Gods who gave me my blessings are... Ahem, they're Aether, Vishnu, Ishtar, Gabriel and Tsukuyomi." Dynamis said as he said the names of the by divine beings.
After he said that he looked at his sister, whom is currently looking at him with a surprised look. Though he started to worry as her face didn't change as she just looked at him. He gulped as he saw that she isn't reacting and wondered what is going through her mind.
"You were Blessed by 5 Gods? By Aether and Vishnu as well." Olivia asked as her eyes widened a bit, seemingly comprehending what she had just heard.
"Yeah." Dynamis said with a nod.
Olivia opened her mouth and closed it before opening it as she kept on repeating it, not knowing what to say to this kind of information. How was she supposed to act when she had just learned that her brother had been Blessed by five Divine beings. Not to mention the fact that Aether and Vishnu, two very powerful divine beings have also blessed him.
"What you're saying is the truth right? Cause that information is quite hard to swallow." Olivia said to him after a few seconds.
"Come on Olivia. You know better than I do that I won't lie to you about something like this." Dynamis said to her with a shake of his head.
And Olivia completely agreed with him. Despite how stubborn and whimsical he had acted in the past, he was never one to blatantly lie about important things. He is especially weak to his family as he has a tendency to blurt out the truth to them if they press him enough. Due to it not many of his secrets remained secrets as the two sisters would make him blurt them out.
'But I guess he can lie when he really wants to.' Olivia thought to herself as she remembered the conversation she overheard.
"It's just... I never even heard of someone getting blessings from 5 divine beings. And he is my own little brother." Olivia said as she looked at him shocked.
"I know. That's why I called you. I don't exactly know what I need to do after becoming a Blessed. You would know about what to do. You always do." Dynamis said to her with a smile.
Olivia frowned at her brothers words but she didn't say anything. Knowing of her brother's low self-esteem didn't exactly give her any confidence at his words as she looked at him.
"Well, inevitably you will have to go to take the aptitude test for proving yourself as a Blessed. There you will be recognised as a Blessed and your rank will be determined." Olivia said to him calmly.
Aftee the appearance of Blessed, it didn't take too long before places for testing the aptitudes of Blessed started to crop up. At those facilities the Blessed would take small tests which show their abilities and are then assigned ranks according to their abilities.
"Yeah, I know about that. But I will also have to choose a guild right? That's important after all." Dynamis said to her with a smile.
"Yeah. You do. If I'm remembering it right then the aptitude test is in 2 days. We can prepare until then." Olivia said to him with a thoughtful look.
"Prepare?" Dynamis asked her when he heard that.
"Since you have been Blessed by five Gods it will sent a shock through the whole world, not to mention the fact that many of the guilds will want to make you a part of their own when the world learn about your blessings." Olivia said to him seriously.
"I guess. I don't know much about the Blessed." Dynamis said to her as he rubbed his head.
"Don't worry, you have me here. Right now, I have to think of a way to get you into my guild." Olivia said to him as she thought about it.
"Wait what? Your guild?" Dynamis asked surprised and a bit shocked.
"Yes, my guild. Is there a problem with that?" Olivia asked him with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, your guild is, you know." Dynamis said hesitantly as he gestured to her.
"Don't worry Dyn, I am a respected member of the guild and the guild master is also a good acquaintance of mine." Olivia said to him with a small smile.
"Are you sure about that?" Dynamis asked her a bit skeptically.
"Don't worry Dyn. Someone like you who had been Blessed by 5 Gods is going to be very valuable and I'm sure that our guild master would want to recruit you." Olivia said with a smile.
"Okay then. I just hope it works." Dynamis said with a sigh.
Olivia looked at her brother, the conversation of yesterday at the forefront of her mind as she still wasn't able to come to full terms with his words. She had always seem him as a talented person who could do better than what he did and was frustrated with him due to how lazy he was.
But after yesterday? Learning that it was how he tried to cope with the expectations that was placed on them and hearing the things that he had experienced? She wanted to kick herself for not noticing anything about it.
She was a Blessed, but more importantly she was a big sister. She was taken care of by her brother in the past whenever she wanted it, babying her and doting on her. She wanted to be free of the expectations and not work for them and he was there for that.
'And now I just did the same thing to him. Instead of actually trying to understand his current capabilities and mentality I just placed my own expectations on him.' Olivia thought to herself as she looked down.
Olivia let out a silent sigh and raised her head to look at her brother and saw the confused look on his face. There was not a shred of hatred or apprehension in his eyes when he saw looking at her, genuine confusion was the only thing in his eyes. She could see that he is fully trusting her for what to do for himself.
She looked down at that and clenched her hands as Dynamis was confused at her actions. His senses having become more powerful due to the blessings he could see her movements much clearer than before, though he needed to concentrate for that as his new senses are foreign for him.
"Is there any problem Olivia?" Dynamis asked her in a soft tone.
"Huh. Oh nothing, just thinking about what to say to the guild master." Olivia said to him with a smile.
Dynamis looked at her and nodded to her as she smiled at the fact that she managed to not let her brother know about her thoughts was a good thing for her.
'She is nervous.' Dynamis thought to himself as he looked at her left hand.
Her left hands pointing finger was tapping on her arm, a habit of hers which she does whenever she is nervous or something similar. He knew about it since he had been with her during moments when she needed his help.
It was an unconscious habit of her which no one in the family knew, as far as he knew anyway considering how she was always her great ideal sister/daughter self most of the time. He had learned about it one time when he was babying her and was happy to know that her habit is still the same.
'But why would she be nervous about anything?' Dynamis thought to himself as he looked at her.
