"Where are you going?"
Sharon grabbed George's wrist as he was about to step out through the slightly ajar front door.
"I wants to tell Ivy to come inside. It was late at night and the wind was blowing hard. Looks like it's going to rain."
"Let her stay outside a little longer. She had a bad day today."
The sad look Sharon gave her daughter surprised George. He always missed important things that happened in his house while he was working in the office.
"Did something happen between Ivy and Jayde? Tonight I noticed they looked strange. And Jayde's face looks battered. Ivy also seems to have bluish bruises on her cheek that are covered with her hair."
Sharon took a deep breath and pulled her husband's body into the house.
