Dan Hamilton life has not always been easy but when they had moved to Reedshores, things were getting good for him. He made good friends like Colton, Josh and Celina. Things were perfect For him at Reedshores and he couldn't wish for anything more except for his brother to find happiness just like he did with this Town. There was something about this town that keeps him coming closer and closer to finding peace with his inner self.
"Mr Hamilton" he was lost in his little world that he didn't realize that the Literature Teacher Mrs Gloria had called out his name no more than three times.
"Yes ma" He blinked twice looking at her. He had no clue why she had called but it definitely had something about the word she wrote on the board or the book they were reading.
"I asked the reason why Shakespeare made Juliet and Romeo die? She lightly pushed the half glasses that perced at the bridge of her pointed nose, her eyes darted halfway in a manner of seriousness.
"Um" he scratched his head before speaking up. " The reason I think he wrote that scene was to pass along the information of true love which clearly have been forgotten over the years. Their love was perfect and they were perfect together and it was the definition of true love" he heard hands clapping for him. It was not his fault that he was a smart cookie, at this moment he felt like a king especially when Mrs Gloria had given him a look of approval.
"I don't think that is the only reason " A kid said from the back, catching the attention of both The teacher and Dan. Dan took his time like a robot to scan whoever just voiced out. His eyes were blue and they gleamed with the ray of sunlight that passed through the class window, his hair were black and a little messy, lips were slightly pink and faintly reddish and he looked Gorgeous, Dan thought.
"Why would you say that Elliott? Mrs Gloria pulled all her focus to him and so did Dan not because he was eager to hear what the kid had to say, atleast not all of it but mostly to admire.
"If we look this in a realistic view, don't you think Shakespeare was a sadist? Who in their right minds will die for love" the kid scoffed. "Love is so over rated"
"Just because you haven't experienced it doesn't mean it's over rated" Dan snapped, unintentionally. Earning a disapproval or more like disgusted look from Elliott.
" Lemme guess you're a lover boy who's willing to lay down his life for his girlfriend" Elliot rolled his eyes. "That's so unrealistic"
"When you find true love, you'll be willing to go far in doing something for them" Dan said Before turning to face the teacher who stood there watching them debate.
"And what do you know about true love? Elliot was not willing to let go of this discussion. To him, love was a facade of lust. "Nothing. You know no more than what this delusional books are saying"
"There's no point in arguing" Mrs Gloria said trying to put an end of the discussion that just got heated.
"I know no more than what a book says that's very much correct but atleast I have faith and I know I'll find it" Dan snapped.
"Sure you'll after screwing all the girls in this school" Elliot snapped back. Dan felt insulted, he wasn't that type of guy that go sleeping around and breaking hearts even if being in the soccer team will earn you that reputation but he was not that type of person.
"That's ENOUGH. Both of you" Mrs Gloria slammed the wooden podium that stood close by the door to make her presence known to them in case they have forgotten.
"Look cupcake, I'm the one that hurt you okay? So there's no need to snap at me " Dan looked at him and smiled. Elliot scoffed and walked out of the class after the bell ring. Dan didn't know what came over him, all he wanted was to admire the kid and maybe start up a conversation with him but it all went wrong.
He walked over to where his friends stood waiting for him outside the class, Looking around the hallway if he could see Elliot. He wanted to apologize for what had gone down in the classroom earlier and maybe become friends with him or so but Elliot was no where to be seen.
"Yo dude. What happened back there? Josh asked, placing his arm around Dan's neck.
"Nothing" Dan laughed.
"I could've swore I saw fire in Elliott's eyes. Bet he wanted to kill you" Colton said laughing.
"Wait you pissed off Elliott? Celina asked.
"I didn't exactly pissed him off, just voicing my opinion" Dan shrugged. "Wait you guys know Elliott?
"Hello, he dated the captain of the basket ball team and it ended real bad" Celina said then groaned after her stomach made some rumbling noise.
"C'mon let's get something for little Celina" Colton joked earning a punch on his shoulder from Celina.
"Ouch, that hurts" Colton said, mimicking celina's voice.
"That's not funny" Celina shouted, chasing after Colton who ran off.
"I'll meet you guys at donnie's" Dan said before walking off to the other side of the hallway in search of Elliott. There's something that pulled him about this kid, maybe it was because they're both broken kids or was he having a crush. Nope it wasn't a crush, he convinced himself. Elliott left in anger and Dan didn't like when people are pissed off at him, that was the only logical explanation Dan's brain worked out.
He stared at the black hair kid who was sitting alone in the drama club classroom, slowly eating the chips that was in between his legs and scrolling through his Instagram feed for something funny or literally anything to uplift his current mood. Dan tucked his hands into his pocket before walking inside, Elliott head rose to see who that was and Dan just smiled.
"Hi…..
