Dan didn't know what to say when he met Elliott in the drama club classroom. All that he could've think of was just 'Hi' and the response he received was a glare. If eyes were a gun and glares are bullet, Dan would've been dead by now.
"What do you want? Elliot snapped at him. He wasn't in the mood of a conversation or anything as long as it has to do with seeing Dan's face outside the class room.
"Just wanted to apologize for earlier" Elliott scoffed at what Dan said.
"Yeah tell that to a kid who just started walking" he rolled his eyes. "Quit that bullshit and tell me what you want "
Despite the glares or the heated way the conversation was about going, Dan just walked to where Elliott was and sat down with him.
"For real though, I just want to apologize" the voice came out softly but loud enough for Elliott to hear it.
"Okay you've cleared your conscience so can you leave me alone now" he asked but Dan wasn't going to leave him. "You're still here"
"I got nothing to do so imma just hangout here….with you" Dan's lips curved into a cute smile, bringing out the faint marks of dimples that plastered on his cheeks.
"You're annoying" Elliott glared then chuckled lightly.
"Did you just laugh? Oh my God you just laughed" Dan teased.
"No I didn't. Why would I do that? Not that you're funny or something" Elliott frowned. But he admits it not in front of Dan but inside him, that Dan was cute and annoying. Very annoying.
Just like that little conversations sparked between them and laughters erupted, Dan couldn't help it but feel attracted to Elliott.
'Elliot was attractive and cute' Dan thought on his back home. The clouds were getting pitch black and the road was lonely. but sometimes in loneliness and quietness, Dan found peace. It gives him the room to access his feelings, emotions without being distracted expect from the car buzzing sounds that drove passed him every ten minutes interval.
He was so close getting home when he saw her, a beautiful figure that was clothed with black dress that match her hair length. Her face was beautiful and when she turned towards him, her eyes which were pitch black glowed. She was beautiful but she was not a human. It didn't take five seconds for her to come close to Dan, gripping him by his throat and pushing him back to the wall.
"Christian" She hissed. Those pitch black eyes were filled with anger, pain and revenge and her grips were firm on Dan's neck, choking the life out of him.
"I'm…not…christian" struggling for air, Dan said trying to break free but her grip was firm. She wasn't gonna listen and she watched him, watch as life was slowly disappearing from his body.
"DIE" She hissed.
He was fighting for his life, fighting the urge to let go, to slip into darkness. At this point he was praying for a miracle, Someone to help him but no one was coming.
'is this how I die' The thought ran like wildfire through his brain down to his mind and to every nerve of his body. " I don't wanna die, not yet." He said, struggling to breathe but her grip get stronger by the second. His visions were getting blurred out, tears began to roll down his cheeks as he starts to remember the scars and traumas. His breath heavied, panic, anxiety kicked in. Now he wasn't struggling to breathe but was struggling to catch his breath. Reedshores was supposed to be different, but this was different or probably worse. His mind traveled to where he lived with his mother, who beat the hell out of him.
' you're a disgrace. You devil' she would say as each strokes lands on his bare body. His mind traveled to when his eyes opened at the hospital after fighting for his life, only to go back home for his mother to start a new series of beatings. And the one time she tried to kill him, strangling the life out of him. All these pains and memories hurts him bad. So bad that he stopped struggling to breathe, he was tired. Tired of everything and since this being wanted to kill him, he would gladly accept his Faith and die. At least he won't have to live with those scars and traumas and maybe life would be easier for Psalm.
Psalm decided to take a walk to blow off some heated steams after leaving Emily's house. He plugged in his aipod, playing music as he enjoyed the silence. He was in his own space, where he worried about nothing.
Sadness wiped him like a mother would wipe a disobedient child when he saw Dan's body lying on the floor.
"Dan" he ran to where Dan was, holding his body in his arms. "Dan wake up" he shook him before placing his head on Dan's chest to feel his heartbeat. He pulled out his phone and dailed emergency service number. " Hello this is 911, how may we be of help?
"Help me.." he cried out. " My brother…. My brother" Psalm burst into tears.
"Sir please give us the address of your location"
" Here's king-block avenue…. Please Help" death took a lot from him when it took his father, making their mother to run crazy and doing all sorts of things but he wasn't going to allow death to take Dan from him too. No, not after all the horrible experience that Dan's been through. He is just a kid who had been through a lot of bad stuffs, who deserves all the happiness in the world, who deserves a good family. He wasn't just going to die like that without experiencing the good stuffs of life.
"Not my little brother" Psalm hold Dan's face to his chest. "Not him, if you want anyone, please take me and leave him alone"
He doesn't know how to pray but right now all he was doing was praying. He was separate from Dan from the medical men and they place Dan on the stroller, taking him into the ambulance and placing oxygen mask on his face.
"Are you his guardian?
"Yes..yes I am "
"Please you've to follow us to the...…" Psalm couldn't hear a thing the man in front of him was saying, not the sirens of the ambulance, not even the rustling of the trees that danced to the sad tone of the breeze.
He mutt every sounds around him except from the sound of his breath and heartbeat..
