One week was not that much time. It elapsed and the day for the execution of Mwithali and his minions had come. It was true that Mwithali and these warriors had made a mistake but they did not deserve to die.
No man had the right to take away another man’s life but, would you say such to King Martin, you could easily find your name next to Mwithali’s as an example to others. Most of the people did not like such events. They left them hurt and less of their loved ones. For Martin and those of his kind, this was a sign of true leadership and the duty of a true King. Whenever such executions had to be done, it was only the ordinal people that suffered and not those of the royal blood.
